Baird, Texas
Baird is a city in Callahan County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,496 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Callahan County. The city is named after Matthew Baird, the owner and director of the Texas & Pacific Railway. The railway depot is now the visitor center and a transportation museum.
Baird is part of the Abilene, Texas Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Geography
Baird is located in north-central Callahan County at 32°23′46″N 99°23′50″W / 32.39611°N 99.39722°W / 32.39611; -99.39722 (32.396035, -99.397140).Interstate 20 passes through the northern part of the city, leading west 20 miles (32 km) to Abilene and east 25 miles (40 km) to Cisco. U.S. Route 283 crosses the east side of town, leading north 25 miles (40 km) to Albany and south 41 miles (66 km) to Coleman.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.7 square miles (7.1 km2), of which 2.7 square miles (6.9 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km2), or 2.55%, is water.

Johan is the debut album by the Dutch band Johan. It was released on November 4, 1996 by the record label Excelsior Recordings. The album was produced by Frans Hagenaars.
The album was released in the US in June 1997 by the record label SpinArt.

Johan (band)
Johan was a Dutch band fronted by singer/guitarist Jacco de Greeuw. Their music has been primarily influenced by bands such as The Beatles, Crowded House, and The Byrds.
Biography
Jacco de Greeuw founded Thank God For Us in the late eighties, after having played in several other bands. The band was renamed Little Mary Big when joined by Marike Groot. With this band, he reached second place at the Grote Prijs van Nederland, an important music competition in the Netherlands. However, arguments with female vocalist Marike Groot (who later appeared on Always..., the debut album of The Gathering), forced them to break up the band. De Greeuw formed a new band named Visions of Johanna after a Bob Dylan song. In 1992 they competed once again in the Grote Prijs competition, reaching the semi-finals this time.
After some changes in the line-up, the band signed a contract with Excelsior Recordings in 1995 and released a single (Swing). One year later, in 1996, the band’s name was shortened to Johan. Under this name the band released a self-titled debut album. The album was received well by Dutch critics and became a commercial success.

"Vir Wat" is a song written and recorded by South African singers David Johnson, Johan Baird, Nigel Morkel and produced by Wicus Struwig. The trio are known as the JDN Project. The Music Video for the song will have its public release on the 28th of May 2021 by DWB production and is One of the Soundtracks in the upcoming Feauture Film “Geel Volla” directed by David Johnson.
The Music Video for “Vir Wat” was Conceptualized by the DWB Productions team – Bianca Le Grange, Lois Du Plesis, Wicus Struwig and David Johnson – working with the concept of “Dead Men Walking”.
