Marcus Ramone Cooper (born December 27, 1984), better known by his stage name Pleasure P is an American R&B singer-songwriter, who experienced success as a member of the group Pretty Ricky before embarking on a solo career in 2007. His debut album The Introduction of Marcus Cooper was released on June 2009. On October, 2014, Pleasure P and the rest of Pretty Ricky officialized on Instagam a reunion tour with a Bluestars 2 album for 2015. His first reunion single with Pretty Ricky is called "Puddles" and has been released during Valentine's Day 2015. It was the most requested song on South Florida's 99 Jamz radio station in the days following its release.

Career

2009-2012: The Introduction of Marcus Cooper

After leaving the group Pretty Ricky. Pleasure P began working on his solo career, he released his solo debut single "Did You Wrong" on July 22, 2008. The single debuted at #90 on the Billboard 100 Hot charts, and debuted at #20 on the top R&B/Hip-Hop charts as well. Pleasure P also released a 2008 EP entitled "Boyfriend #2", including "Did You Wrong" and a promo single "Boyfriend #2", released digitally and as an LP disc. Videos for "Did You Wrong" and "Boyfriend #2" were released digitally and on MySpace. Later on in 2009 he also released the song "Under" from the album. His solo debut album, The Introduction of Marcus Cooper was released on June 9, 2009. The album was originally to be released in January, but was finally released after several delays. Pleasure P's career received a boost by being featured in the second single from Flo Rida's album R.O.O.T.S., gaining publicity from his presence on its guest list.

Pleasure (2013 film)

Pleasure is a 2013 Swedish short film that won the "Semaine de la Critique" also known as the Canal + Award at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Directed by Ninja Thyberg the film tells the story of a girl Marie (played by Jenny Hutton) who agrees to perform a double-anal sex scene in a hard porn video so she will not lose her job. The short film also tells about the darker side of the porn industry. By winning the award the film will be broadcast on Canal + in France.

Pearl (drag queen)

Pearl, occasionally known as Pearl Liaison, is the stage name of American drag performer and record producer Matthew James Lent. Lent garnered fame through competing on the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race, finishing joint runner-up. He released his debut album Pleasure on June 2, 2015. His debut fragrance, Flazéda was released on June 30, 2015.

Early life

Lent grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida with his mother and two sisters. He spent time drawing "rich old ladies with big diamond rings and furs", which eventually morphed into his drag persona.

Drag career

After moving to Chicago, Lent began performing in drag in 2012, using the stage name Pearl. He has described Pearl's persona as a "stepford wife robot bitch". Lent initially only planned to use drag as a hobby, but quickly began booking gigs at increasing frequency. He later moved to Brooklyn, New York.

In December 2014, Pearl was announced to be a participant on the seventh season of the Logo TV reality television series RuPaul's Drag Race. Despite a slow start to the competition, Pearl rebounded to win two main challenges, and eventually became a finalist alongside fellow competitors Ginger Minj and Violet Chachki. In the season finale, Chachki was crowned the winner, leaving Pearl as a runner-up.

Herman is a 1990 Norwegian drama film directed by Erik Gustavson. The film was selected as the Norwegian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 63rd Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.

Herman (bishop)

Herman or Hereman (Latin: Hermannus or Herimannus; died 1078) was a medieval cleric who served as the bishop of Ramsbury and Sherborne before and after the Norman conquest of England. In 1075, he oversaw their unification and translation to Salisbury (then at Old Sarum). He died before the completion of the new cathedral.

Herman was a native of Flanders (Lotharingia). As chaplain of Edward the Confessor, he was named bishop of Ramsbury shortly after 22 April 1045. He visited Rome in 1050, where he attended a papal council with his fellow English bishop Ealdred. He was named abbot of Malmesbury Abbey by King Edward in 1055 and planned to move his seat there as well, apparently in the hope of increasing the income from his poor see. The king revoked this position after three days, however, when the monks and Earl Godwin objected.

Herman then abandoned Ramsbury to the administration of Ealdred and traveled to the continent to become a monk at the abbey of St Bertin at Saint-Omer. He returned three years later when the bishopric of Sherborne fell vacant; he was elected, faced no opposition from King Harold, and resumed administration of Ramsbury around 1058 or 1059. He later moved the see to the royal fortress at Salisbury. Approval for this translation and the unification of his sees was given at the council held at London between 1074 and 1075.

Rhythm

Rhythm (from Greek ῥυθμός, rhythmos, "any regular recurring motion, symmetry" (Liddell and Scott 1996)) generally means a "movement marked by the regulated succession of strong and weak elements, or of opposite or different conditions" (Anon. 1971, 2537). This general meaning of regular recurrence or pattern in time can apply to a wide variety of cyclical natural phenomena having a periodicity or frequency of anything from microseconds to millions of years.

In the performance arts rhythm is the timing of events on a human scale; of musical sounds and silences, of the steps of a dance, or the meter of spoken language and poetry. Rhythm may also refer to visual presentation, as "timed movement through space" (Jirousek 1995, ) and a common language of pattern unites rhythm with geometry. In recent years, rhythm and meter have become an important area of research among music scholars.
