Dallas (/ˈdæləs/) is a major city in the state of Texas and is the largest urban center of the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the United States. The city proper ranks ninth in the U.S. and third in Texas after Houston and San Antonio. The city's prominence arose from its historical importance as a center for the oil and cotton industries, and its position along numerous railroad lines. The bulk of the city is in Dallas County, of which it is the county seat; however, sections of the city are located in Collin, Denton, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties. According to the 2010 United States Census, the city had a population of 1,197,816. The United States Census Bureau's estimate for the city's population increased to 1,281,047, as of 2014.

Dallas World Aquarium 2015 Great place to visit and a very friendly staff- parking is located right outside the aquarium. Manatee West Indian manatees are large, gray aquatic mammals with bodies that taper to a flat, paddle-shaped tail. They have two forelimbs, called flippers, with three to four nails on each flipper. Their head and face are wrinkled with whiskers on the snout. The manatee's closest relatives are the elephant and the hyrax (a small, gopher-sized mammal). Manatees are gentle and slow-moving animals. Most of their time is spent eating, resting, and traveling. Manatee are mostly herbivorous, however small fish and invertebrates can sometimes be ingested along with a manatee’s normal vegetation diet. They eat a large variety of submerged, emergent, and floating plants an...

The Dallas World Aquarium first opened its doors in 1992. It was relatively small back then, but that would soon change.
http://www.dwazoo.com - No, we were not compensated for this video, but it would be cool if they wanted to be a sponsor! Dallas World Aquarium is the number one place my son, now 17, wants to go. We used to live in Dallas, and would go about once a month. Now we live in Austin, but every time we go to Dallas, this place tops our list of things to see. In this video we show just a little bit of what awaits you at the DWA. Hope you enjoy it! Dallas - Texas Travel guide, Vacation, Tourism World Travel https://www.youtube.com/user/World1Tube Dallas - Texas - United States Travel guide http://goo.gl/tLsKrZ Dallas is a young city with all the vigour of youth. Effigies of modern architecture rise like glass trees out of the downtown area. In 1841, it was simply a plan of 20 streets on the 256 hectares (640 acres) of south central America, claimed by a Tennessee lawyer, John Neely Bryan. Today, it is the ninth largest city in the USA, and including its western neighbour of Fort Worth, it is the nation's fastest growing metropolitan area. Thriving at the bottom edge of America's Great Plains, Dallas has embraced dreamers and entrepreneurs for the better part of two centuries. Big D, as it's affectionately called, merges Southern hos...

Most major cities have great malls, but Dallas exceeds expectations with some of the most incredible shops in the country. From Northpark Center, one of the very first malls in America, to shiny and new Stonebriar Center Mall, as well as tourist favorite Galleria Dallas, you'll find precisely what you're searching for. Anchor stores like Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom are easy to find, and smaller boutiques, such as Hanna Anderson and Vera Bradley don't disappoint. When you tire of shopping, (does that ever happen?) the ice rink at Galleria Dallas provides fun for the whole family. Northpark Center and Stonebriar Center both house incredible AMC Movie Theaters for movie lovers, and all three malls contain restaurants with cuisine that can't be missed. Find out for yourself what makes the ...

"Aquarium" is not the right word to describe this attraction. Of course there are fish, stingrays, eels and octopuses — you'll find these and a variety of other aquatic creatures occupying the facility's expansive tanks. But the Dallas World Aquarium also houses penguins, sharks and flamingos. A living Rain forest shelters manatees, crocodiles, monkeys and toucans, while the Mayan exhibit is home to a jaguar and an ocelot, among other fascinating wildlife.
This is from our visit to the Dallas World Aquarium.
An afternoon at the Dallas World Aquarium. After you are done there take a walk down to the Texas Book Depository and check out the museum.
This video is about the day that my family and I went to the aquarium.
Hey everyone, so we recently took a little road trip to a concert for Lana Del Rey for my little sister, she's a hardcore fan, but unfortunately Dallas that night was on a tornado watch in our area and the show was postponed. My sister didn't take it so well, but very grateful for the other experiences we had.We also did other things out there, to sort of see what Dallas, TX had to offer. It was really cool, the only downside was the weather :( Idk how you Texans do it! This whole trip I'm very thankful for, to be with the people I love the most and experiencing it with them as well. Anyways, just figured I vlog for the duration of our trip, hope you guys enjoy and thanks for watching! Disclaimer: I don't own any rights to the music used in this video.
