Pixie Tail (Japanese: フェアリーテイル Hepburn: Fearī Teiru?) is a Japanese manga arrangement composed and represented by Hiro Mashima. It has been distributed in Week by week Shōnen Magazine since August 2, 2006, and has been distributed by Kodansha in 48 tankōbon volumes; the individual sections are being distributed in tankōbon volumes by Kodansha, with the initially discharged on December 15, 2006, and the 48th volume discharged on Walk 17, 2015. Pixie Tail takes after the experiences of Lucy Heartfilia, an adolescent wizard (魔導士 madōshi?), who joins the main wizards' society and groups up with kindred organization part Natsu Dragneel as he scans for the monster Igneel. The sections have been adjusted into an anime arrangement delivered by A-1 Photos and Satelight, which started TV in Japan in 2009.Additionally, A-1 Photos and Satelight have added to six unique feature movements and an enlivened highlight film, Pixie Tail the Motion picture: Phoenix Priestess. The arrangement finished on Walk 30, 2013.However, on Walk 4, Mashima reported on his Twitter account that the anime would not end yet, and that reruns of the anime will start airing on television Tokyo under the title Pixie Tail Best! on April 4, 2013.On July 11, Mashima reported the green lighting of a spin-off arrangement of the anime.The new arrangement debuted on television Tokyo on April 5, 2014. The arrangement was initially authorized for an English dialect discharge in North America by Del Rey Manga, which started discharging the individual volumes on Walk 25, 2008 and finished its authorizing with the 12th volume discharge in September 2010.
