Not to be confused with Tanjung Kupang in Johore
Kupang is the provincial capital of East Nusa Tenggara province in southeast Indonesia.
The city is located in West Timor on the island of Timor, and had a population estimated in 2010 at 335,050. It is surrounded by (but is separate from) the Kupang Regency (whose capital is also the city of Kupang), which had a population estimated in 2009 at 394,173. It is the biggest city and port on the island of Timor.
The formal sector of the manufacturing sector in the Kupang area is mainly based on the cement industry. The export and import of goods from the local port is also an important part of the regional economy. Local service sector activities (trading, transport, food and drinks) also employ significant numbers of people in the informal sector. The airport of Kupang El Tari Airport (IATA-Code: KOE), is approximately 8 km towards the east of Kupang. As capital of East Nusa Tenggara, the transport and administrative links from Kupang with nearby but somewhat isolated islands are extensive.
Me sigue una nube
Que baja y que sube
Me sigue una nube
Que baja, que sube y no de algod?n
Que cuando se aleja
Me da gran tristeza
Me da gran tristeza
