Jules est berger sur un plateau aride de Haute-Provence. Il vit seul : parfois il laisse une lampe allumée devant une de ses fenêtres et Fine, une jeune veuve, vient lui tenir compagnie.
Jules fait paître ses moutons sur les hauteurs et c'est là qu'un matin il découvre une énorme bombe. Comme on est en 1946, au lendemain de la guerre, le berger pense que l'engin explosera facilement. Il s'abrite dans un trou, vise le détonateur de la bombe et tire plusieurs coups de fusil. Rien ne se passe. Intrigué, Jules s'aperçoit alors qu'il ne s'agit pas d'une bombe mais d'un "container" bourré de billets de banque. Il y en a une telle quantité que Jules est incapable de compter cette fortune tombée du ciel.
Discrètement, il cherche à savoir par Delphine, l'institutrice, combien il faut de zéros pour faire des millions de milliards, mais il ne comprend rien à la leçon. Le curé, consulté, lui cite l'Évangile.
Quant à Fine, elle se contente de donner une idée à Jules : réunir tous les villageois autour d'un banquet. Et là, le berger doit expliquer d'où lui vient cet argent. Croyant calmer la convoitise de tous, Jules se met alors à distribuer à chacun, jour après jour, des paquets de billets.
Les bénéficiaires de ces largesses, jaloux les uns des autres, en viennent à haïr leur auteur et à décider de le tuer. Heureusement pour le "Crésus" involontaire, deux policiers surviennent qui révèlent que les billets sont faux : les Allemands comptaient en inonder la France pour la ruiner !
En France dans les années 1920, dans un petit village de Provence près d'Aubagne, Les Bastides Blanches, les gendarmes recherchent Manon, une jeune sauvageonne de la région.
Dans les collines avoisinantes, une vieille femme, Baptistine, jette une malédiction sur le village, ayant appris que la tombe de son mari a été supprimée pour des raisons administratives. Elle est accompagnée de Manon.
A la terrasse du café, les notables parlent de cette Manon : elle est la fille du " Bossu des sources " , qui s'est tué à la tâche car son domaine était sans source d'eau et qui a dû s'approvisionner chaque jour à plusieurs kilomètres. La région étant singulièrement sèche, les sources sont vitales et, en général, gardées secrètes par les paysans : " Une source des collines, ça ne se dit pas " commente même Philoxène, le maire-bistrotier. Les notables croyaient que ce bossu, Jean Cadoret, était un étranger qui venait de Peypin, un village voisin, mais il était en fait le Fils d'une fille du village, Florette Camoins, que le Papet, un des notables présents, avait bien connue dans sa jeunesse ; son tort est d'avoir épousé un étranger. Plusieurs notables semblent apprendre l'origine du bossu et commentent que cela aurait pu éviter une injustice, sans en dire plus cependant. Belloiseau, un clerc de notaire à la retraite dur d'oreille, raconte sa rencontre avec le bossu, sa femme et leurs deux enfants, un garçon et une fille. Quelques femmes viennent également commenter les propos des notables en accusant Manon d'être une sorcière.
Les gendarmes ont arrêté Manon et la ramènent au village. Elle est accusée d'avoir blessé un gars du village, Polyte, et aussi d'avoir volé des melons à Ugolin, un paysan de la région. Le chef de la gendarmerie organise immédiatement une sorte de procès pour régler cette situation. Tous se retrouvent dans une salle communale et les témoins défilent. L'instituteur, avocat de Manon, met en évidence l'obscurantisme et la superstition dont la plupart des témoignages font preuve. Manon explique qu'elle s'est défendue en frappant avec un bâton Polyte à la tête car il a tenté de l'agresser sexuellement. On passe à l'affaire du vol des melons et Ugolin témoigne qu'il les a lui-même mis à la disposition de Manon. Après une dernière intervention ironique de l'instituteur, Manon est libérée de toutes les charges contre elle.
De retour à leur terrasse, les notables rappellent que la fête de la fontaine du village a lieu le lendemain.
Manon a rejoint Baptistine dans les collines et celle-ci lui montre où et comment réaliser sa vengeance : " Maintenant tu as vu, fais ce que tu voudras ! " Quelques instants plus tard, Manon rencontre l'instituteur qui cherche des cailloux pour sa collection. Manon, sans trop entrer dans les détails, lui explicite combien Ugolin est un méchant homme. Elle raconte que, lorsqu'elle était enfant et en l'absence de source à proximité, elle, son frère et ses parents ont dû porter l'eau tous les jours sur des kilomètres. Ugolin a trouvé une source sur leurs terres après les avoir rachetées. L'instituteur la quitte. Quelques instants plus tard, Ugolin la rejoint et lui déclare son amour. Elle l'abandonne à sa quasi hystérie.
Le même jour, plus tard, Manon sort d'une anfractuosité dans une paroi abrupte des collines ; elle transporte notamment une pioche.
L'instituteur montre ses cailloux à un ami. Il reconnaît apprécier Manon.
Le lendemain, c'est la fête de la fontaine et Manon vient au village. Pendant le discours commémoratif de Belloiseau qui encense les vertus de la nature et de l'eau bienfaitrice, la fontaine commence à toussoter et, tout à coup, son débit d'eau s'arrête : les villageois, les paysans du coin, tout le monde commence à paniquer. Le maire annonce qu'il a pris contact avec l'ingénieur du génie rural du département.

MusicBrainz is a project that aims to create an open content music database. Similar to the freedb project, it was founded in response to the restrictions placed on the CDDB. Band of Horses, originally known briefly as Horses, is an American rock band formed in 2004 in Seattle by Ben Bridwell. The band has released four studio albums, the most successful of which is 2010's Grammy-nominated Infinite Arms. The band's lineup, which included Mat Brooke for the debut album, has undergone several changes; although, the current members, Bridwell, Ryan Monroe, Tyler Ramsey, Bill Reynolds, and Creighton Barrett, have all been with the band for several years. Band of Horses' fourth studio album, Mirage Rock, was released in September 2012.
History
Formation and Everything All the Time (2004–2006)
Ben Bridwell (vocals, guitar) formed Band of Horses in 2004 after the break-up of his previous band, Carissa's Wierd, along with bassist Chris Early and drummer Tim Meinig. They were soon joined by former Carissa's Wierd bandleader Mat Brooke (guitar, vocals). The band initially received attention from Sub Pop after opening for Iron & Wine during Seattle area shows. In 2005, the band released the Tour EP, which was sold at shows and on Sub Pop's website.

Mirage Rock
Mirage Rock is the fourth studio album by Band of Horses and was released on September 18, 2012 on Columbia Records. Produced by Glyn Johns, the album was preceded by the single, "Knock Knock".
Pre-release
In April 2012, lead singer, Ben Bridwell, revealed that Band of Horses' fourth studio album was scheduled for release in late-2012, with production by Glyn Johns. In June 2012, via Facebook and YouTube, the band shared a video preview of a new song, "Dumpster World," and confirmed a September 2012 release for the album.
On July 10, 2012, the fourth album's title was confirmed as Mirage Rock, and the tracklisting and artwork were also unveiled. Bridwell has stated that there is no such place as Mirage Rock and explained that the name "is a total piss take." Prior to the official launch of Mirage Rock on September 18, "Knock Knock" and "Slow Cruel Hands of Time" were released as previews of the album. On September 10, 2012, the entire album was streamed on both the Band of Horses Soundcloud page and the official website.

Raymond Pellegrin
Raymond Pellegrin (1 January 1925 – 14 October 2007) was a French actor.
Born in Nice, Pellegrin made his screen debut in the 1945 French feature Naïs.
He was also famous in France for dubbing Jean Marais for the voice of Fantômas in the eponymous film trilogy.
He married actress Dora Doll on 12 July 1949; the couple had a daughter named Danielle, and divorced in 1955. He married actress Gisèle Pascal on 8 October 1955; on 12 September 1962, the couple had a daughter, Pascale Pellegrin, now also an actress.
In his films, he is sometimes credited as "Raymond Pellegrini." He died in Garons.

Jules fait paître ses moutons sur les hauteurs et c'est là qu'un matin il découvre une énorme bombe. Comme on est en 1946, au lendemain de la guerre, le berger pense que l'engin explosera facilement. Il s'abrite dans un trou, vise le détonateur de la bombe et tire plusieurs coups de fusil. Rien ne se passe. Intrigué, Jules s'aperçoit alors qu'il ne s'agit pas d'une bombe mais d'un "container" bourré de billets de banque. Il y en a une telle quantité que Jules est incapable de compter cette fortune tombée du ciel.
Discrètement, il cherche à savoir par Delphine, l'institutrice, combien il faut de zéros pour faire des millions de milliards, mais il ne comprend rien à la leçon. Le curé, consulté, lui cite l'Évangile.
Quant à Fine, elle se contente de donner une idée à Jules : réunir tous les villageois autour d'un banquet. Et là, le berger doit expliquer d'où lui vient cet argent. Croyant calmer la convoitise de tous, Jules se met alors à distribuer à chacun, jour après jour, des paquets de billets.
Les bénéficiaires de ces largesses, jaloux les uns des autres, en viennent à haïr leur auteur et à décider de le tuer. Heureusement pour le "Crésus" involontaire, deux policiers surviennent qui révèlent que les billets sont faux : les Allemands comptaient en inonder la France pour la ruiner !

A la terrasse du café, les notables parlent de cette Manon : elle est la fille du " Bossu des sources " , qui s'est tué à la tâche car son domaine était sans source d'eau et qui a dû s'approvisionner chaque jour à plusieurs kilomètres. La région étant singulièrement sèche, les sources sont vitales et, en général, gardées secrètes par les paysans : " Une source des collines, ça ne se dit pas " commente même Philoxène, le maire-bistrotier. Les notables croyaient que ce bossu, Jean Cadoret, était un étranger qui venait de Peypin, un village voisin, mais il était en fait le Fils d'une fille du village, Florette Camoins, que le Papet, un des notables présents, avait bien connue dans sa jeunesse ; son tort est d'avoir épousé un étranger. Plusieurs notables semblent apprendre l'origine du bossu et commentent que cela aurait pu éviter une injustice, sans en dire plus cependant. Belloiseau, un clerc de notaire à la retraite dur d'oreille, raconte sa rencontre avec le bossu, sa femme et leurs deux enfants, un garçon et une fille. Quelques femmes viennent également commenter les propos des notables en accusant Manon d'être une sorcière.
Les gendarmes ont arrêté Manon et la ramènent au village. Elle est accusée d'avoir blessé un gars du village, Polyte, et aussi d'avoir volé des melons à Ugolin, un paysan de la région. Le chef de la gendarmerie organise immédiatement une sorte de procès pour régler cette situation. Tous se retrouvent dans une salle communale et les témoins défilent. L'instituteur, avocat de Manon, met en évidence l'obscurantisme et la superstition dont la plupart des témoignages font preuve. Manon explique qu'elle s'est défendue en frappant avec un bâton Polyte à la tête car il a tenté de l'agresser sexuellement. On passe à l'affaire du vol des melons et Ugolin témoigne qu'il les a lui-même mis à la disposition de Manon. Après une dernière intervention ironique de l'instituteur, Manon est libérée de toutes les charges contre elle.
De retour à leur terrasse, les notables rappellent que la fête de la fontaine du village a lieu le lendemain.
Manon a rejoint Baptistine dans les collines et celle-ci lui montre où et comment réaliser sa vengeance : " Maintenant tu as vu, fais ce que tu voudras ! " Quelques instants plus tard, Manon rencontre l'instituteur qui cherche des cailloux pour sa collection. Manon, sans trop entrer dans les détails, lui explicite combien Ugolin est un méchant homme. Elle raconte que, lorsqu'elle était enfant et en l'absence de source à proximité, elle, son frère et ses parents ont dû porter l'eau tous les jours sur des kilomètres. Ugolin a trouvé une source sur leurs terres après les avoir rachetées. L'instituteur la quitte. Quelques instants plus tard, Ugolin la rejoint et lui déclare son amour. Elle l'abandonne à sa quasi hystérie.
Le même jour, plus tard, Manon sort d'une anfractuosité dans une paroi abrupte des collines ; elle transporte notamment une pioche.
L'instituteur montre ses cailloux à un ami. Il reconnaît apprécier Manon.
Le lendemain, c'est la fête de la fontaine et Manon vient au village. Pendant le discours commémoratif de Belloiseau qui encense les vertus de la nature et de l'eau bienfaitrice, la fontaine commence à toussoter et, tout à coup, son débit d'eau s'arrête : les villageois, les paysans du coin, tout le monde commence à paniquer. Le maire annonce qu'il a pris contact avec l'ingénieur du génie rural du département.
