Dushyant

Dushyant (born 1977 Kesarisinghpur, near the Indo-Pakistani border) is a widely published Hindi fiction writer and poet. His first collection of poems (2005) received an award from the Rajasthani Akademi, and his recent collection of poems, Prem Ka Anya (2011), received the Ramkumar Ojha Award.

Dushyant was the founder and editor of the literary magazine Shabdkram. His first collection of short stories, July Ki Ek Raat, was published in June 2013 by Penguin.

Dushyant has been invited to literature festivals like Youth Literary Festival of Sahitya Akademi( National Academy of Letters, INDIA) the Jaipur Literature Festival and Kritya International Poetry Festival. .

He did BA(Hons) in History, studied Philosophy too. Then, He mastered in Modern Indian History, followed by qualifying UGC-NET, JRF. Which resulted into a DOCTORATE in History. His area of specialization was Feminism/ Gender Studies. His doctoral dissertation (in History) entitled Striyan: Parde se Prajatantra tak, was published in 2012 by Rajkamal Prakashan, Delhi.

Dushyant Kumar

Dushyant Kumar Tyagi (1 September 1933 – 30 December 1975) was a poet of modern Hindi literature. He is known as first Hindi Ghazal writer of India. In India, he is generally recognised as one of the foremost Hindustani poets of the 20th century. He was also a Dramatist, Litterateur and Gazal writer.

Early life

Dushyant Kumar was born at Navada Village of Bijnor District in Uttar Pradesh in a Tyagi family. He studied MA with Hindi as his core subject from Allahabad University.

Vocation

His literary career started at Allahabad. He wrote many dramas, poems, Gazals, short stories. He actively participated in Seminars at Parimal Academy of Literature. He also worked with Naye Patte, an important Indian Newsletter of that time, Akashwani and Rajbhasha Section in Madhya Pradesh. Corruption was a major theme in his writings. His poetry has become an inspiration for an whole generation of emerging poets.

Kumar Vishwas

Kumar Vishwas (born 10 February 1970) is a Hindi-language performance poet and an Indian politician and National Executive of Aam Aadmi Party.

Career

Vishwas has participated in poetry recitations and functions abroad including the USA, Dubai, Singapore, and Japan.

Vishwas supported the anti-corruption movement led by Anna Hazare. He is a member of the national executive of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He contested the 2014 Lok Sabha election, as an AAP candidate from Amethi, but lost to Rahul Gandhi.

A sting operation was carried out by a media portal ahead of the 2013 Delhi Assembly elections that claimed that some AAP members, including Vishwas, had raised illegal cash donations. The AAP accused the portal of slandering the leaders of the party. Mediasarkar.com and AAP filed cross complaints against each other. The Police promised action after a thorough investigation.

A video clip from Kavi sammelan in which he is shown making alleged derogatory remarks about Imam Hussain and Hindu deities and nurses from kerela went viral on social media websites,various cases were registered against him. Vishwas responded that the clippings were doctored and he apologizes if he had unintentionally hurt someone's sentiment. Later, Vishwas apologised for his remarks, saying it was not his intention to hurt anyone's sentiments or feelings.
