Big stretch by Redpath, who's marked about 40 metres out. 

He's missed to the right though. Good patch for the Dogs, just when the Eagles were starting to get some run going.

Big goal to Libba, and the Dogs have the lead one more.

Nice little, late lead and Jordan Roughead got the ball to him just outside 50 metres. 

The Eagles were pushing and pushing for a couple of minutes there, but Hunter (a miss) and Libba (goal) were both able to work shots on goal.

Dogs lead by 5.

Shot on goal now for Darling.

A Bulldog handball turnover at the back of the centre square gave the Eagles room to set this one up.

It is a ... GOAL. Fantastic kick from a step or two inside the 50 metres line, on an angle.

Eagles lead again, 34-32. Six minutes gone.

That was some goal to Stringer to kick off the second term.

A bit of casual brilliance from the boundary line. He was a bit lucky to get a free for deliberate out of bounds, there.

Dogs are in front, 31-28.

Goal to Darling, and then one to Dunkley to finish off the first quarter.

Apologies for the lack of updates... I blame technology.

The Eagles had a heap of inside 50s (18) and the Dogs didn't have many (9).

It's a fast and furious type game. West Coast should really be a few goals up; their forward line is causing the Dogs some match-up issues.

Yikes.

Jack Redden has just missed the most open of open goals. Off the side of the boot from about 2 metres out.

And the Dogs have made him regret it. End to end, where Jake Stringer has shrugged a tackle and booted his first goal.

There's been a bit of action while my internet connection decided to crash...

The Eagles scored a second quick goal through Josh Hill.

Then Jack Redpath got an easy one on the line for the Dogs.

And then Mark Le Crash kicked his first.

Think we're all caught up now. 

The Eagles lead, 19-12.

And it is. Eagles have their first goal on the board via Yeo, from right in front.

he was in stacks of space, and Cripps found him from about 40 metres out.

West Coast moved the ball well to set that one up, pounding on a Bulldogs error.

Kennedy got away really easily for a shot on goal then.

But his kick was touched off the boot, so no real harm done.
