BBS Requirements to Treat Couples and Families

Effective January 1, 2017, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, prior to commencement of couple or family treatment, shall obtain written confirmation from the Board of Behavioral Sciences (Board) that he or she meets State requirements to treat couples and families, and shall provide a copy of this written confirmation to clients.
