App Review: Airmail
From an honest view, this is the mail client that I use on a daily basis. It's a great application and totally worth it's price. You get an amazing design with minute updates, from who ever sent you an email. With a nice integrated OS X El Capitan design, I think it really is the best mail application as of right now. Even better then the stock one that comes with your mac! So when you guys get a chance, give it a try.

Apple ändert kaum noch etwas an seinem Email-Programm. Grund genug für andere Anbieter, diesen Markt aufzumischen. Airmail ist ein solcher Kandidat. Mit tollen Ideen und frischem Design versucht es die Gunst der Mac-User zu erobern. Ich bin das Experiment eingegangen und habe den Umstieg gewagt und ich stelle Euch das Programm vor.

An unusual feature length film from the 1920s about the Air Mail Service which, essentially, began civil commercial aviation in the U.S.
An air mail plane flies from New York City to San Francisco, making various stops. Consists mostly of aerial views of the plane and the terrain. Reel 1 shows the handling of a letter preparatory to the flight. The airplane leaves New York and flies over the Allegheny Mountains. Reel 2, the plane flies to Iowa City, Iowa, making stops at Bellefonte, Pennsylvania; Cleveland; and Maywood, Illinois. Reel 3 shows the flight from Omaha to Salt Lake City, with stops at North Platte, Nebraska, and Rock Springs, Wyoming. Reel 4, from Reno to San Francisco. Reel 5, Army planes are reconditioned for air mail service and night landings are made at the Air Mail Service Depot at Chicago. Shows Harry S. New and an aerial panorama of Washington, D.C.
In 1925, the Congress passed HR 7064 entitled "An Act to encourage commercial aviation and to authorize the Postmaster General to contract for Air Mail Service" (The Kelly Act) which directed the U.S. Post Office Department to contract with private airlines to carry the mail over designated routes many of which connected with the Government operated Transcontinental Air Mail route between New York and San Francisco.

Airmail
Airmail (or air mail) is a mail transport service branded and sold on the basis of being airborne. Airmail items typically arrive more quickly than surface mail, and usually cost more to send. Airmail may be the only option for sending mail to some destinations, such as overseas, if the mail cannot wait the time it would take to arrive by ship, sometimes weeks. The Universal Postal Union adopted comprehensive rules for airmail at its 1929 Postal Union Congress in London. Since the official language of the Universal Postal Union is French, airmail items world-wide are often marked Par avion , literally: "by airplane".
For about the first half century of its existence, transportation of mail via aircraft was usually categorized and sold as a separate service (airmail) from surface mail. Today it is often the case that mail service is categorized and sold according to transit time alone, with mode of transport (land, sea, air) being decided on the back end in dynamic intermodal combinations. Thus even "regular" mail may make part of its journey on an aircraft. Such "air-speeded" mail is different from nominal airmail in its branding, price, and priority of service.

An unusual feature length film from the 1920s about the Air Mail Service which, essentially, began civil commercial aviation in the U.S. An air mail plane flies from New York City to San Francisco, making various stops. Consists mostly of aerial views of the plane and the terrain. Reel 1 shows the handling of a letter preparatory to the flight. The airplane leaves New York and flies over the Allegheny Mountains. Reel 2, the plane flies to Iowa City, Iowa, making stops at Bellefonte, Pennsylvania; Cleveland; and Maywood, Illinois. From an honest view, this is the mail client that I use on a daily basis. It's a great application and totally worth it's price. You get an amazing design with minute updates, from who ever sent you an email. With a nice integrated OS X El Capitan design, I think it really is the best mail application as of right now. Even better then the stock one that comes with your mac! So when you guys get a chance, give it a try.

In 1925, the Congress passed HR 7064 entitled "An Act to encourage commercial aviation and to authorize the Postmaster General to contract for Air Mail Service" (The Kelly Act) which directed the U.S. Post Office Department to contract with private airlines to carry the mail over designated routes many of which connected with the Government operated Transcontinental Air Mail route between New York and San Francisco.

An air mail plane flies from New York City to San Francisco, making various stops. Consists mostly of aerial views of the plane and the terrain. Reel 1 shows the handling of a letter preparatory to the flight. The airplane leaves New York and flies over the Allegheny Mountains. Reel 2, the plane flies to Iowa City, Iowa, making stops at Bellefonte, Pennsylvania; Cleveland; and Maywood, Illinois.
