Jensen Karp

Jensen-Gerard Karp (born November 8, 1979), is an American art dealer, producer, podcaster and former rapper raised in Calabasas, California

Karp was previously known by his stage name Hot Karl. Karl engaged in rap battling and freestyle at USC, during which time he took up the Hot Karl pseudonym.

Music

Karl later entered the Roll Call freestyle competition on Los Angeles radio station Power 106, where he lasted a record 45 days on air to become the show's all-time champion. Karl began collaboration with Limp Bizkit's DJ Lethal, creating a demo exhibiting his satirical style and tightly-wound rhymes. He eventually signed with Interscope Records, where he recorded what was to be his debut album, Your Housekeeper Hates You, which included guest appearances by Redman, Kanye West, will.i.am, DJ Quik, Fabolous, Mýa, Sugar Ray, Celph Titled, DJ Clue and MC Serch. However, Interscope informed Karl that his album could not be commercially released due to scheduling conflicts and he decided to leave Interscope.

Hot Karl (also Hot Carl) is sexual slang referring to one of several purported acts involving feces. It variously means an act of defecating on one's sexual partner, defecating on someone who is asleep, or hitting someone with a sock full of excrement.

Usage

According to psychologist Anil Aggrawal, it is a synonym for a Cleveland steamer and is part of a coprophilia vocabulary that also includes the Dirty Sanchez.

The term was adopted as a name by rapper Hot Karl. In Chicago a weekly show at ComedySportz is called The Hot Karl. The group Ten in the Swear Jar released a 2005 album Accordion Solo! with a track titled "Hot Karl."

Dirty Sanchez is an electroclash band that was formed in Los Angeles in 2001 and includes Jackie Beat, Mario Diaz and DJ Barbeau.

Dirty Sanchez has a very strong following on the West Coast, playing to full houses and has also toured the East Coast with Thrill Kill Kult.

Members

Barbeau has DJed as the opening acts for Duran Duran and for Moby. He was one of the leaders in concerts and nightlife in Seattle hosting some of the biggest parties and events there. Jackie Beat, the singer, toured with Roseanne Barr as the opening act for her comedy routine. Mario Diaz has thrown dance parties that redefined the club scene in Seattle, New York and Los Angeles. He was the creator and co-owner of the infamous East Village venue, The Cock and The Fat Cock.

Andy Dick

Andrew Roane "Andy" Dick (born December 21, 1965) is an American comedian, actor, musician, and television and film producer. Best known as a comic, he is also known for his eccentric and controversial behavior. His first regular television role was on the short-lived but influential Ben Stiller Show. In the mid-1990s, he had a long-running stint on NBC's NewsRadio and was a supporting character on Less than Perfect. He briefly had his own program, The Andy Dick Show on MTV. He is noted for his outlandish behavior from a number of Comedy Central Roasts. He landed in 7th place on the 16th season of Dancing with the Stars.

Early life

Dick was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on December 21, 1965, and he was adopted at birth by Allen and Sue Dick, and named Andrew Roane Dick. He was brought up Presbyterian, and as a child, he spent time living with his family in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York, and Yugoslavia before moving to Chicago in 1979. He attended Lassiter High School, which was being temporarily housed at George Walton Comprehensive High School in Cobb County, Georgia. Dick appeared in numerous theater productions during his high school years and was elected homecoming king his senior year in 1983. While in high school, Dick tended to use his name as a joke; and one day, he dressed in a homemade superhero costume and presented himself at school as "Super Dick". Dick graduated from Joliet West High School in 1984, and is a friend of actor Anthony Rapp, whom he had known since childhood. After graduating from high school, Dick joined Chicago's Second City, attended Columbia College Chicago, and took improv comedy classes at iO Theater.
