Bleeding or flushing is shiny, black surface film of asphalt on the road surface caused by upward movement of asphalt in the pavement surface. Common causes of bleeding are too much asphalt in asphalt concrete, hot weather, low space air void content and quality of asphalt.
Bleeding is a safety concern since it results in a very smooth surface, without the texture required to prevent hydroplaning.
Bleeding usually means the loss of blood from the body.
Bleeding, bleed or bleeder may also refer to:
Bleeding was Psychotic Waltz's fourth and final studio album, released in 1996. In 2004, Metal Blade Records reissued Bleeding in a box set also containing the band's second album Into the Everflow and a bonus CD containing demos. Music videos were made for "Faded" and "My Grave".
The United Kingdom (UK) comprises four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Within the United Kingdom, a unitary sovereign state, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales have gained a degree of autonomy through the process of devolution. The UK Parliament and British Government deal with all reserved matters for Northern Ireland and Scotland and all non-transferred matters for Wales, but not in general matters that have been devolved to the Northern Ireland Assembly, Scottish Parliament and National Assembly for Wales. Additionally, devolution in Northern Ireland is conditional on co-operation between the Northern Ireland Executive and the Government of Ireland (see North/South Ministerial Council) and the British Government consults with the Government of Ireland to reach agreement on some non-devolved matters for Northern Ireland (see British–Irish Intergovernmental Conference). England, comprising the majority of the population and area of the United Kingdom, remains fully the responsibility of the UK Parliament centralised in London.
The Hastings Line is a secondary railway line in Kent and East Sussex, England, linking Hastings with the main town of Tunbridge Wells, and from there into London via Tonbridge and Sevenoaks. Although primarily carrying passengers, the railway serves a gypsum mine which is a source of freight traffic. Southeastern operates passenger trains on the line.
The railway was constructed by the South Eastern Railway in the early 1850s across the difficult terrain of the High Weald. Supervision of the building of the line was lax, enabling contractors to skimp on the lining of the tunnels. These deficiencies showed up after the railway had opened. Rectifications led to a restricted loading gauge along the line, requiring the use of dedicated rolling stock.
Served by steam locomotives from opening until the late 1950s, passenger services were then taken over by a fleet of diesel-electric multiple units built to the line's loading gauge. Diesel locomotives handled freight, also built to fit the loading gauge. The diesel-electric multiple units served on the line until 1986, when the line was electrified and the most severely affected tunnels were reduced from double track to single.
99.9 Country (DZWR 99.9 MHz Baguio City) is a Catholic church-controlled music FM radio station owned and operated by Mountain Province Broadcasting Corp., as part of the nationwide Catholic Media Network, in the Philippines. The station's studio is located at the St. Louis University Compound, A. Bonifacio Street, Baguio City.
BACKGROUND: It was formerly known as "99.9 Magic" before the management reformatted the branding to assert its position as the only 100% country music station in the Philippines. Rev. Fr. Paul C. Basilio is the station manager.
Its other brand name before was "WR PINOY" when it played all OPM hits of the past and present of mid 1990's and "POWER 99".
There were only three FM stations operating in the city that time, the others are "MRS 102.3 Most Requested Song Baguio" (now Radyo5 102.3 News FM Baguio) and "103.9 Smile Radio Baguio" (now 103.9 iFM Baguio). Magic 99.9 slogan then when it became No. 1 in listenership was "The Only Number One FM Radio Station in Baguio", while 103.9 Smile Radio Baguio puts its slogan at the same time as "The Official Number One FM Radio Station in Baguio", while on the other hand, MRS 102.3 Most Requested Song Baguio puts its slogan as "The Real Number One FM Station in Baguio" at the same time.
Staging is an unpaid internship when a cook or chef works briefly, for free, in another chef's kitchen to learn and be exposed to new techniques and cuisines. The term originates from the French word stagiaire meaning trainee, apprentice or intern. The French term commis is often used interchangeably with the aforementioned terms. The individual completing this activity is referred to as a stage, stagiaire (pronounced "stazhje"; IPA: /sta.ʒjɛ:ʁ/), commis (assistant chef) or volontaire (volunteer).
Before the advent of modern culinary schools, young cooks learned their craft as unpaid apprentices in professional restaurant kitchens and bakeries (and other food preparation establishments: pastry shops/patisserie, butcher shops/boucherie, candy shops/confisserie, hotels, etc.) under the guidance of a mentoring chef. This practice has become less common in recent decades.
Staging is similar to trialling in professional kitchens. Trialling is an activity often used to assess the skills and training of a cooking job candidate. The hiring chef might assess the trial cook's adaptive skills in the new kitchen and how they interact with other staff in the restaurant. When a culinary student or cook-in-training is seeking an internship, often the trial is the next step after the interview.
We're all afraid our country is bleeding
We're all OK and no one is leaving
We're all the same and no one's leaving
We're breathing
We already lied tonight
We've already tried to fight
It's all the same
So why are you dreaming
We're all OK our country is bleeding
We're breathing
We already lied tonight
We already tried to fight
It's the song that makes you sad
To be loving the life like that
It's the man that makes you mad
It's the love you never had
We already lied tonight
We've already tried to fight
We are ready
I'm tired for sleep
We already lied
