Jean Dudley, known professionally as Lynne Perrie (7 April 1931 - 24 March 2006), was an English actress, singer, comedienne, presenter and author. Born in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, she was the older sister of comedian and actor Duggie Brown. She rose to prominence in the 1960s as a cabaret singer, but was to become best known for her acting. Perrie is most recognised as Mrs Casper in Ken Loach's 1969 film Kes, Mrs. Petty in the television series Queenie's Castle, and as Ivy Tilsley in Coronation Street, a character she portrayed from 1971 until 1994.
On 7 March 1994, Perrie was reportedly fired from Coronation Street due to having cosmetic lip enhancements which dramatically changed her appearance. The significant publicity she subsequently received made her a subject of ridicule, and her career and reputation suffered as a result. For the next three years she became a media personality, and made high profile appearances on entertainment shows like The Word and Shooting Stars, which were notable for the fact that she appeared to be drunk live on the air. Her lifestyle and eccentric behavior became almost as well known as her long career in show business, and in 1996 she was the subject of a Channel 4 film The Ghost Of Ivy Tilsley.
Ivy Joan Tilsley (née Nelson; previously Brennan) was a fictional character from the British soap opera Coronation Street, played by Lynne Perrie. She was originally credited as Ivy Tyldesley. Ivy worked as a machinist at Mike Baldwin's (Johnny Briggs) factory, and was elevated to supervisor. Her best friend was Vera Duckworth (Liz Dawn). In the 1975 episode where the factory was burnt down, Ivy mentions that she is childless and her husband's name is "Jack"; before that, her husband was called "Wilf Tyldesley", and before that "Arthur". Jack himself made two appearances in 1975. By the time she became a street resident and a more regular character, her husband was named "Bert" and they had an adult son, Brian (Christopher Quinten).
As well as being the mother of Brian, Ivy is the grandmother of Nick Tilsley (Warren Jackson, Adam Rickett, Ben Price) and Sarah-Louise Platt (Lynsay & Leah King, Tina O'Brien) and the great-grandmother of Bethany Platt (Amy & Emily Walton, Lucy Fallon). Ivy's storylines have included her feud with daughter-in-law Gail Tilsley (Helen Worth), losing her husband and son and her relationship with Don Brennan (Geoffrey Hinsliff).
Television X is the name of a series of adult television channels in the UK, produced by Portland TV, a subsidiary of Northern & Shell owned by Richard Desmond, the proprietor of the Daily Express. In 2009, a new logo was placed on all TVX channels; TVX, TVX amateur and TVX Brits replacing the old logo from 2003. in 2014 Television X announced that they had acquired the exclusive television rights to Down on Abby a porn parody of Downton Abbey and would be airing one episode a week from April 5, 2014.
Television X The Fantasy Channel launched in June 1995. The two original hosts were Charmaine Sinclair and Samantha Jessup with Debbie Corrigan and Kirsten Imrie making occasional appearances. Much of the original programming Superdick, Shagnasty and Mutley, David Dickie's World of Sport etc. was developed by Deric Botham, then editor of Penthouse. The station garnered international publicity when it brought American prostitute Divine Brown over for a launch at Bafta's headquarters in Piccadilly. On Friday nights, DJ Chris Rogers aka Caesar the Geezer presented a live two-hour show with sports agent Eric Hall.
Coronation Street (informally known as Corrie) is a British soap opera created by Granada Television and shown on ITV since 9 December 1960. The programme centres on Coronation Street in Weatherfield, a fictional town based on Salford, its terraced houses, café, corner shop, newsagents, textile factory and The Rovers Return pub. The fictional street was built in the early 1900s and named in honour of the coronation of King Edward VII.
The programme was conceived in 1960 by scriptwriter Tony Warren at Granada Television in Manchester. Warren's initial kitchen sink drama proposal was rejected by the station's founder Sidney Bernstein, but he was persuaded by producer Harry Elton to produce the programme for thirteen pilot episodes. Within six months of the show's first broadcast, it had become the most-watched programme on British television, and is now a significant part of British culture. This show has been one of the most financially lucrative programmes on British commercial television, underpinning the success of Granada Television and ITV.

Wie nur konntest du das tun
Hast du nichts dabei gefühlt
Was nahm dir all die Skrupel, all die Scham
Du hast gewissenlos gehorcht
Mord befohlen, ausgeführt
Das Gas war leise, nur die Schreie laut
Die Bilder machen fassungslos
Gruben voller Leichen
Voller nicht erfüllter Hoffnungen
Du hast als Richter, Henker
ihre Zukunft geraubt
Wie kann ein Mensch zum Unmensch werden
Das höchste Gut mit Füßen treten
Chorus:
Leben- mehr als nur zu überleben
Leben- das ist Ursprung und Ziel
Leben- als kleiner teil des großen ganzen
Lebenswert zu sein
Daß im Namen einer Politik
Daß im Namen einer Religion
Menschenverachtung uns im Kriege führt
Und daß der Wahnsinn triumphiert
Wo ein Leben nur als Opfer dient
All das blieb uns bis jetzt erspart
Wir kennen nur die Bilder
Das genau ist unsere Chance
Wenn wir begreifen, wenn wir lernen wollen
Wie du und ich und wir gemeinsam
