Dramatic moment man attempts to STEAL Olympic torch, A man was arrested when trying to get the Olympic torch on its way in Guarulhos, in Greater São Paulo, on Saturday morning (23). The unidentified man tried to break the blockade on Avenida Salgado Filho in Guarulhos Center.
Man is arrested after attempting to STEAL the Olympic torch on the streets of Sao Paulo before being tackled to the ground by police.
This is the shocking moment a man tried to steal the Olympic flame while it was passing through the Brazilian town of Guarulhos, in Sao Paulo.
The man was arrested by officers from the National Public Security Force after lunging out at the torch this morning.
The suspect, who has not yet been identified, tried to steal the flame on the Salgado Filho Avenue in the centre of Guarulhos.
He also assaulted one member of the National Security Force.
Torch passes through the Great SP Saturday and the capital on Sunday.

Selena Gomez
Selena Marie Gomez (/səˈliːnə məˈriː ˈɡoʊmɛz/ sə-LEE-nə mə-REE GOH-mez;Spanish pronunciation: [seˈlena ˈɣomes]; born July 22, 1992) is an American singer and actress. Born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, she was first featured on the children's series Barney & Friends in the early 2000s. Man is arrested after attempting to STEAL the Olympic torch on the streets of Sao Paulo before being tackled to the ground by police.
This is the shocking moment a man tried to steal the Olympic flame while it was passing through the Brazilian town of Guarulhos, in Sao Paulo.
The man was arrested by officers from the National Public Security Force after lunging out at the torch this morning.
The suspect, who has not yet been identified, tried to steal the flame on the Salgado Filho Avenue in the centre of Guarulhos.
He also assaulted one member of the National Security Force.
Torch passes through the Great SP Saturday and the capital on Sunday.
