The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. The first settled line-up consisted of Brian Jones (guitar, harmonica), Ian Stewart (piano), Mick Jagger (lead vocals, harmonica), Keith Richards (guitar), Bill Wyman (bass) and Charlie Watts (drums). Stewart was removed from the official line-up in 1963 but continued as an occasional pianist until his death in 1985. Jones departed the band less than a month prior to his death in 1969, having already been replaced by Mick Taylor, who remained until 1975. Subsequently, Ronnie Wood has been on guitar in tandem with Richards. Following Wyman's departure in 1993, Darryl Jones has been the main bassist. Other notable keyboardists for the band have included Nicky Hopkins, active from 1967 to 1982; Billy Preston through the mid 1970s (most prominent on Black and Blue) and Chuck Leavell, active since 1982. The band was first led by Jones but after teaming as the band's songwriters, Jagger and Richards assumed de facto leadership.
Let It Bleed is the eighth British and tenth American album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released in December 1969 by Decca Records in the United Kingdom and London Records in the United States. Released shortly after the band's 1969 American Tour, it is the follow-up to 1968's Beggars Banquet and the last album by the band to feature Brian Jones as well as the first to feature Mick Taylor.
Although the Stones had begun the recording of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" in November 1968, before Beggars Banquet had been released, recording for Let It Bleed began in earnest in February 1969 and continued sporadically until early November. Brian Jones performs on only two tracks: playing the autoharp on "You Got the Silver", and percussion on "Midnight Rambler". His replacement, Mick Taylor, plays guitar on two tracks, "Country Honk" and "Live with Me", as well as on "Honky Tonk Women" which was recorded during the Let It Bleed sessions. Keith Richards, who had already shared vocal duties with Mick Jagger on "Connection" and sung separate lead vocals on parts of "Something Happened to Me Yesterday" and "Salt of the Earth", sang his first solo lead vocal on a Rolling Stones recording with "You Got the Silver".The London Bach Choir sang on "You Can't Always Get What You Want" but publicly disassociated itself from the album, citing what author Stephen Davis terms its "relentless drug ambience".

Hear the story about the camera and photographer that took one of the most amazing live stage photos of Mick Jagger in the 70s, when he played at Kooyong in Australia. It also captured a unique and bohemian moment in time, St.Kilda in the 70s. This place that is now a tourist destination, with fancy bars, flashy cars and fragrant coffee was once a haven for migrants, down and outs, party people and folk who otherwise just didn't belong. The 3rd issue of Mirage Magazine was edited between a Beachwood Canyon bungalow, LA coffee shops, a Cape Town beachouse and Neil Young albums repeating on the BeoMaster. "We've always been fans of Young, the way his lyrics transport this detached feeling of youth and the open road.. the bitter-sweet ecstacy and constant urge to keep moving', says Frank Rocholl (Co-Editor in Chief with Purienne) "The idea of escaping the grid and the sprawl and living for love and freedom alone". And there will always be a space in my parking lot
When you need a little coke and sympathy"
Yeah, we all need someone we can dream on
And if you want it, baby, well you can dream on me
Yeah, we all need someone we can cream on
And if you want to, well you can cream on me
I was dreaming of a steel guitar engagement
When you drunk my health in scented jasmine tea
But you knifed me in my dirty filthy basement
With that jaded, faded, junky nurse
Oh what pleasant company
We all need someone we can feed on
And if you want it, well you can feed on me
Take my arm, take my leg, oh baby don't you take my
head?
Yeah, we all need someone we can bleed on
Yeah, and if you want it, baby, well you can bleed on
Yeah, we all need someone we can bleed on
Yeah, yeah, and if you want it, baby, why don'cha bleed
on me
All over
Ahh, bleed it alright, bleed it alright, bleed it
alright
You can bleed all over me
bleed it alright, bleed it alright, bleed it alright
