In September, an adult male bald eagle was found in the Salmon la Sac area weak and unable to fly. Kittitas Audubon network of volunteers was called to deliver the eagle to a local veterinarian, also part of the bird rescue network. Dr. Fuller kept the eagle for a week stabilizing the bird. Then Kittitas Audubon volunteers drove the bird to the Blue Mountain Wildlife Rehab in Oregon for further support and rehab. Thumbs up to Kittitas Audubon volunteers.
