Bass violin is the modern term for various 16th and 17th-century bass instruments of the violin (i.e. "viola da braccio") family. They were the direct ancestor of the modern cello. Bass violins were usually somewhat larger than the modern cello, but tuned the same or sometimes just one step lower than it. Contemporary names for these instruments include "basso de viola da braccio," "basso da braccio," or the generic term "violone," which simply meant "large fiddle." The instrument differed from the violone of the viol, or "viola da gamba" family in that like the other violins it had at first three, and later usually four strings, as opposed to five, six, or seven strings, it was tuned in fifths, and it had no frets. With its F-holes and stylized C-bouts it also more closely resembled the viola da braccio.
The name "bass violin" is also sometimes used for the double bass.
Occasionally historians have used the term "bass violin" to refer other various instruments of the violin family which were larger than the alto violin or viola, such as the tenor violin. This use can be synonymous with "harmony violin."
Infinity Hall is a performing arts venue located in Norfolk, Connecticut located in a historic building from 1883. Another venue also named Infinity Hall is operated by the same company in Hartford, Connecticut.
The venue was constructed in 1883 and originally functioned as a combination opera house, barber shop and saloon. The building was chartered as the Norfolk Village Hall, although it was commonly known as the Norfolk Opera House. The name of the building’s designer was not recorded, and an unsubstantiated rumor credited the work to noted architect Stanford White.
The Norfolk Opera House hosted vaudeville and theatrical presentations until the late 1940s. For the following four decades, it was used as a restaurant and a grocery store. The building was closed in 1994 and remained vacant for four years.
In 1998, the building was purchased by playwrights and theater producers Maura Cavanaugh and Richard Smithies for US$50,000, who undertook a massive US$650,000 restoration that included the rebuilding of an observation tower that was part of the original structure. Cavanaugh and Smithies renamed the venue the Greenwoods Theater and brought dramatic and musical productions to its stage. Cavanaugh and Smithies operated the Greenwoods Theater until early 2007, when financial difficulties forced them to close the venue.
The Weinberg Center is a venue located in Frederick, Maryland that holds various showings of music, theatre, films and visual art. The theatre was built as the Tivoli Theatre by the Stanley-Crandall concern and opened on December 23, 1926. It was the premiere movie theatre of Frederick for nearly fifty years but, after considerable damage suffered in a 1976 flood, closed. The Weinberg family, which then owned the old movie palace, chose to present it to the city as a gift rather than attempt to keep it open as a movie house. The theatre has been maintained in the splendid style of 1926. The theatre's organ, a two-manual, eight-rank Wurlitzer, is the only original theatre organ installation in the state. The Weinberg Center holds several dozen events every year, and has an annual budget of over one million dollars.

New Jersey is a state in the Northeastern and Middle Atlantic regions of the United States. It is bordered on the north and east by New York, on the southeast and south by the Atlantic Ocean, on the west by Pennsylvania, and on the southwest by Delaware. New Jersey is the fourth-smallest state, but the 11th-most populous and the most densely populated of the 50 United States. New Jersey lies entirely within the combined statistical areas of New York City and Philadelphia and is the second-wealthiest U.S. state by median household income as of 2014.
New Jersey was inhabited by Native Americans for more than 2,800 years, with historical tribes such as the Lenape along the coast. In the early 17th century, the Dutch and the Swedes made the first European settlements. The English later seized control of the region, naming it the Province of New Jersey after the largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey, and granting it as a colony to Sir George Carteret and John Berkeley, 1st Baron Berkeley of Stratton. New Jersey was the site of several decisive battles during the American Revolutionary War in the 18th century.

Back story: I'd wanted to get a violin bow for years, and for some reason assumed they were all expensive. Some of them are STUPID expensive, but I found one for £7. I thought it was so cheap it didn't work, but it turned out that rosin, which I'd previously thought was some kind of optional extra, is vital otherwise the bow won't grip the string. I order and wait a few days. Best immediate results were with bass, so bass this video was. It wasn't affectation to hold the bass like a cello - angles of bowing meant I could only bow on the neck, top and bottom strings. Bowing on the neck causes harmonics to interfere with what you're actually playing; it also coats your strings and neck with pine sap from the rosin. Don't use your best instruments. Certainly not perfect - bit of squeaking a...

Yeah
Tick tock [x5]
I'm running out of time
Thought I was in love but never mind
Tick tock
The hell was that?
Nigga in my crib
Baby girl, fall back
Tick tock
You wasting my time
People giving in, musta lost your mind
Oh hell, so you need a ride
Baby girl, get your ass outside
No car, no cab
Get the hell out, girl
I live right on the bus line
The bus line [x2]
So we say tick tock, oh, oh oh oh
Tick tock, oh, oh oh oh
Tick tock, oh, oh oh oh
Tick tock
And no, you can't use my phone
I called T-Mobile
I turned that off
Tick tock
It's your country ass
Lying to me, girl that ass is fast
Tick tock
Baby, God bless you
I wish you luck in everything you do
Tick tock
Baby, wipe your tears
Matter fact, why are you still here?
No car, no cab
Get the hell out, girl
I live right on the bus line
The bus line [x2]
So we say tick tock, oh, oh oh oh
Tick tock, oh, oh oh oh
