Willard Leroy Metcalf (July 1, 1858 – March 9, 1925) was an American artist born in Lowell, Massachusetts. He studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and later attended Académie Julian, Paris. After early figure-painting and illustration, he became prominent as a landscape painter. He was one of the Ten American Painters who in 1897 seceded from the Society of American Artists. For some years he was an instructor in the Womans Art School, Cooper Union, New York, and in the Art Students League, New York. In 1893 he became a member of the American Watercolor Society, New York. Generally associated with American Impressionism, he is also remembered for his New England landscapes and involvement with the Old Lyme Art Colony at Old Lyme, Connecticut and his influential years at the Cornish Art Colony.
Born into a working-class family, Metcalf began painting in 1874. In 1876 he opened a studio in Boston, and received a scholarship at the Boston Museum school, where he studied until 1878. In 1882 he held an exhibition at the J. Eastman Chase Gallery in Boston, the sales from which financed a study trip abroad.
New York is a state in the Northeastern United States and is the United States' 27th-most extensive, fourth-most populous, and seventh-most densely populated state. New York is bordered by New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south and Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont to the east. The state has a maritime border in the Atlantic Ocean with Rhode Island, east of Long Island, as well as an international border with the Canadian provinces of Quebec to the north and Ontario to the west and north. The state of New York, with an estimated 19.8 million residents in 2015, is often referred to as New York State to distinguish it from New York City, the state's most populous city and its economic hub.
With an estimated population of nearly 8.5 million in 2014, New York City is the most populous city in the United States and the premier gateway for legal immigration to the United States. The New York City Metropolitan Area is one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world. New York City is a global city, exerting a significant impact upon commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment, its fast pace defining the term New York minute. The home of the United Nations Headquarters, New York City is an important center for international diplomacy and has been described as the cultural and financial capital of the world, as well as the world's most economically powerful city. New York City makes up over 40% of the population of New York State. Two-thirds of the state's population lives in the New York City Metropolitan Area, and nearly 40% live on Long Island. Both the state and New York City were named for the 17th century Duke of York, future King James II of England. The next four most populous cities in the state are Buffalo, Rochester, Yonkers, and Syracuse, while the state capital is Albany.
Life insurance or life assurance, especially in the Commonwealth, is a contract between an insurance policy holder and an insurer or assurer, where the insurer promises to pay a designated beneficiary a sum of money (the benefit) in exchange for a premium, upon the death of an insured person (often the policy holder). Depending on the contract, other events such as terminal illness or critical illness can also trigger payment. The policy holder typically pays a premium, either regularly or as one lump sum. Other expenses (such as funeral expenses) can also be included in the benefits.
Life policies are legal contracts and the terms of the contract describe the limitations of the insured events. Specific exclusions are often written into the contract to limit the liability of the insurer; common examples are claims relating to suicide, fraud, war, riot, and civil commotion.
Life-based contracts tend to fall into two major categories:

The story is based on the history of the ship Mary Celeste. The ship was found floating near Portugal in 1872 without a crew. The film is an attempt at a rather unspectacular explanation of the events around the well-known spirit ship, without supernatural occurrences. “Whatsoever you do” Stanza: Whatsoever you do to the least of your brothers, That you do unto me! Whatsoever you do to the least of your Sisters, That you do unto me! Verses: When I was hungry you gave me to eat When I was thirsty you gave me to drink. Now enter into the home of your father. When I was tired you helped me find rest. When I was worried you calmed all my fears. Now enter into the home of your Father. When I was lonely, to me you did speak. When I was troubled you listened to me. Now enter into the home of your Father. When I was homeless you opened the door When I was naked you gave me your coat Now enter into the home of your Father. When I was laughed at, you stood by my side. When I was happy, you shared my joy. Now enter into the home of your Father.
David Ransley, Promo Editor, Documentary Editor, Online, Colour Correct Willard: The Hermit of Gully Lake tells the story of how MacDonald survived for over 60 years in a tumbledown, one-room shack in the wilds of Nova Scotia's Cobequid Mountains. For many years, most people didn't even know of MacDonald's existence. He wanted nothing to do with people. Many townspeople regarded him with compassion; others with contempt.

Willard Somers Elliot(1926-2000): Symphony No. 2 Dallas Symphony Orchestra, January 21, 1963. (Conductor unlisted) Elliott was principal bassoonist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1964--1997. In his career, Wikipedia lists over 30 major compositions in what it calls a "selected list." The Symphony No. 2 is not dated, but cataloged as pre-1959. Unfortunately, as it is that neglected composers are not represented well on recording media, information about them is also sparse.
