Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif narrowly escaped an attack on his convoy Sunday night while en route to Islamabad, PM along with his family, was travelling to the capital when another car tried to overtake the convoy and hit his car.
नवाज शरीफ रविवार रात हुए एक हमले में बाल-बाल बचे। वे परिवार के साथ मुरी से इस्लामाबाद लौट रहे थे। तभी अचानक एक कार ने उनके काफिले को ओवरटेक किया और पीछे से उनकी कार को टक्कर मार दी। हालांकि प्रधानमंत्री नवाज और कार पर सवार अन्य लोग एकदम सुरक्षित हैं। प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय के अनुसार, ‘सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने उस कार को रुकवाया। जाँच से पता चला कि उस पर फर्जी नंबर प्लेट थी। उसके ड्राइवर को गिरफ्तार कर मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है।

Sharīf Asharif or Alsharif (Arabic: شريف šarīf) or Chérif (Darija: Chorfa) is a traditional Arab title in origin, the word is an adjective meaning "noble", "highborn". The feminine singular is sharifa(h) (Arabic: شريفة šarīfah). The masculine plural is Ashraf (Arabic: اشراف ʾašrāf).
Sunnis in the Arab world reserve the term sharif for descendants of Hasan ibn Ali, while sayyid is used for descendants of Husayn ibn Ali, Hasan's younger brother. Both Hasan and Husayn are grandchildren of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, through the marriage of his cousin Ali and his daughter Fatima. However ever since the post-Hashemite era began in 1925 after the fall of the Sharif of Mecca, the term sayyid has been used to denote descendants from both Hasan and Husayn. Shiites use the terms sayyid and habib to denote descendants from both Hasan and Husayn; see also ashraf.
From 1201 until 1925, when the Hejaz was conquered by Ibn Saud, this family (the descendants of Hasan ibn Ali) held the office of the Sharīf of Mecca, often also carrying the title and office of King of Hejaz. Descendants now rule the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the name being taken from the Banu Hashim, the sub-tribe of Banu Quraish, to which Muhammad belonged.

Nawaz Sharif
Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif (Urdu: میاں محمد نواز شریف, pronounced [nəˈʋaːz ʃəˈriːf]; born 25 December 1949) the 18th and current Prime Minister of Pakistan in office since June 2013. A veteran politician and industrialist, he previously served as Prime Minister from November 1990 to July 1993 and from February 1997 to October 1999. Sharif is the president of Pakistan Muslim League, which is currently Pakistan's largest political party, and has formed the government. As the owner of Ittefaq Group, a leading business conglomerate, he is also one of the country's wealthiest people. He is commonly known as the "Lion of the Punjab".
Nawaz Sharif entered politics in the 1980s when in the general elections of 1985, he won with an overwhelming majority, both in the National and Provincial Assemblies. On 9 April 1985, he was sworn-in as Chief Minister of Punjab. On 31 May 1988, he was appointed caretaker Chief Minister, after the dismissal of Assemblies by General Zia. Nawaz Sharif was again elected as Chief Minister after the 1988 general elections. After Zia's death and Benazir Bhutto's being elected Prime Minister in 1988, Sharif emerged as opposition leader from the conservative Pakistan Muslim League. When Bhutto was dismissed by President Ghulam Ishaq Khan in 1990 on corruption charges, Sharif was elected Prime Minister the same year. But relations between Sharif and Ghulam Ishaq too deteriorated, with Ghulam Ishaq attempting to dismiss Sharif on similar charges. Sharif successfully challenged the President's decision in the Supreme Court, but both men were ultimately persuaded to step down in 1993 by army chief Abdul Waheed Kakar.

Umer Shareef
Umer Shareef, TI, also spelled Omer Sharif, is a Pakistani stand-up comedian and stage, film, and television actor. He is sometimes called "the King of Comedy."
Career
Sharif was born in Liaquatabad, Karachi as Mohammad Umer. (He changed his name to Omer Sharif when he joined the theater). He started his career in entertainment in 1974, when at age 14 he became a stage performer in Karachi.
Early on, Sharif worked as a background musician with a group of friends, playing at local parties and functions. Sharif became one of the best-known stage performers in Pakistan after his extremely popular 1989 comedy stage plays Bakra Qistoon Pay and Buddha Ghar Pe Hai. In both he starred with Moin Akhter, another well-known Pakistani actor. Sharif was one of the first actors who started to record his shows for video rentals, which played a major part in his success. Yes Sir Eid, No Sir Eid and Bakra Qistoon Pay were the first two stage shows to come out on video, respectively.
Sharif attained considerable fame and is sometimes called "the King of Comedy" in South East Asia. He was rated the "best comedian ever" by Indian audiences. On Comedy Circus, Indian comedians Johnny Lever and Raju Srivastav recognised Sharif as "The God Of Comedy." His videos are sold at stores across India.

Supreme court
A supreme court is the highest court within the hierarchy of many legal jurisdictions. Other descriptions for such courts include court of last resort, instance court, judgment court, apex court, and highest court of appeal. Broadly speaking, the decisions of a supreme court are not subject to further review by any other court. Supreme courts typically function primarily as appellate courts, hearing appeals from decisions of lower trial courts, or from intermediate-level appellate courts.
However, not all highest courts are named as such. Civil law states do not tend to have singular highest courts. Additionally, the highest court in some jurisdictions is not named the "Supreme Court", for example, the High Court of Australia; this is because decisions by the High Court could formerly be appealed to the Privy Council. On the other hand, in some places the court named the "Supreme Court" is not in fact the highest court; examples include the New York Supreme Court, the Supreme Courts of several Canadian provinces/territories and the former Supreme Court of Judicature of England and Wales, which are all superseded by higher Courts of Appeal.

The President of Turkey (Turkish: Cumhurbaşkanı) is the head of state of the Republic of Turkey. The Presidency is largely a ceremonial office but has some important functions. In this capacity, the President represents the Republic of Turkey, and the unity of the Turkish nation, as well as ensuring the implementation of the Constitution of Turkey and the organized and harmonious functioning of the organs of state. The articles from 101 to 106 of the Constitution establish all the requirements, election, duties, and responsibilities for the office of the President. The office of the President of Turkey was established with the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey on October 29, 1923. The President of Turkey is often informally referred to as the Reis-i Cumhur, meaning 'President of the People'. The current office-holder is the 12th President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan since August 28, 2014.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif narrowly escaped an attack on his convoy Sunday night while en route to Islamabad, PM along with his family, was travelling to the capital when another car tried to overtake the convoy and hit his car. नवाज शरीफ रविवार रात हुए एक हमले में बाल-बाल बचे। वे परिवार के साथ मुरी से इस्लामाबाद लौट रहे थे। तभी अचानक एक कार ने उनके काफिले को ओवरटेक किया और पीछे से उनकी कार को टक्कर मार दी। हालांकि प्रधानमंत्री नवाज और कार पर सवार अन्य लोग एकदम सुरक्षित हैं। प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय के अनुसार, ‘सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने उस कार को रुकवाया। जाँच से पता चला कि उस पर फर्जी नंबर प्लेट थी। उसके ड्राइवर को गिरफ्तार कर मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है।

Israeli tank fire struck the fuel depot of Gaza's only power plant this morning, potentially cutting electricity to the enclave's 1.8 million residents. At least four civilians were killed after a Taliban suicide bomber rammed a car packed with explosives into a wall around the German consulate in the northern Afghan city of Mazar Sharif late on Thursday (November 11), officials said. Scores more were injured
A NATO spokesman said the explosion had caused "massive damage" to the building, where around 30 people normally worked. Heavily armed attackers followed up the blast, battling with Afghan and German security forces late into the night.
"Germany, which heads the NATO-led Resolute Support mission in northern Afghanistan, has about 850 soldiers at a base on the outskirts of Mazar-i-Sharif, with another 1,000 troops coming from 20 partner countries."
"The suicide bomber was driving a truck full of explosives and hit the wall of the consulate office of our allied country Germany. As a result, there were some casualties near the building of the consulate but thank God all diplomat and members of the consulate are secured and safe. We reacted quickly with NATO Special Forces and entered inside the consulate. We have evacuated all diplomats to Marmal base," Abdul Razaq Qadiri, deputy police chief of Mazar Sharif, said. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was in retaliation for NATO air strikes against a village near the northern city of Kunduz last week in which more than 30 people were killed. The heavily protected consulate is located in a large building close to the Blue Mosque in the centre of Mazar-i-Sharif, where the Indian consulate was also attacked by militant gunmen earlier this year.

LAHORE - With faces painted in red and green and wearing bands of party flags, thousands of workers added colours to PTI rally at Raiwind yesterday.
The venue of ‘Ehtisab March’ (accountability march) was chosen six km off the PM’s Jati Umra residence at Adda Plot.
Within a month, it was the second impressive public gathering of Imran Khan’s party in Lahore which is considered a stronghold of ruling PML-N.
The PTI took out a rally from Shahdrah to Faisal Chowk The Mall on September 3, demanding independent probe into Panama leaks.
The rally was then participated by the delegations of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, PML-Q, Jamaat-e-Islami, PPP and other opposition parties. However, none of the political party’s leader or worker attended the yesterday’s PTI march except Awami Muslim League president Sheikh Rashid who during his speech termed himself and Imran the real opposition of PML-N.
The PAT had refused to participate claiming its workers might become violent as the place was nearer to the Sharifs’ residence. The PML-Q and the PPP had not attended the rally saying staging protests at front of politicians’ residences was not a good tradition.
The Jamaat, which is also the ally of PTI in KP government, said it was not invited to attend the march, though the JI itself led a protest rally towards Sharif’s residence in Raiwind in the past.
The JI’s “Corruption Free Pakistan” march in Faisalabad on the same day (Friday) was the other reason behind the non-participation of Jamaat in the march.
The women participated in large number against the earlier PTI’s rally in which they avoided attending due to episodes of misbehavior with them. The PTI tiger force and women members were deployed for the strict security of women enclosure.
Imran Khan had appealed to its workers from all over the province to gather at the Adda Plot who from Thursday night had started reaching in Raiwind. Their arrival continued from different cities including Karachi and Peshawar till yesterday late night.
A young worker Shahzad Khan from Lyari (Karachi) said he arrived in Lahore on call of his chairman to get the looted money from Nawaz Sharif.
Another bearded man from DG Khan said he was ready to sacrifice his life for making Pakistan a corruption free country.
A young man from Sialkot said he wanted accountability of the Sharif family and other accused named in Panama leaks. A women participant, Nighat from Ali Town of Lahore, said Imran Khan was the true leader and he could save the country from all crises.
Long queues of traffic were seen on Motorways and GT Road. Traffic remained stuck at Raiwind Road, Shaukat Khanum Road, near Duabi Town for hours due to rush of vehicles heading towards the venue.
Televisions run interviews of some PTI workers from different cities claiming the government attempted to block them – a claim the government denied.
A TV reported that PTI workers chanted Go-Nawaz-Go slogan when found State Minister Abid Sher Ali in a restaurant at Motorways near Bhera Interchange. But, Abid Sher claimed PTI workers made selfies with him. No untoward incident of clash between and unrest was reported against the fear of fight between PML-N and PTI workers created earlier when the PML-N workers had made Nawaz Sharif Janisar Force to stop PTI march in front of their leader’s residence.
In response, a Tiger Force was made by Imran Khan lovers.
Later, PML-N’s top leadership had said that they would not stop any PTI worker for attending the rally. But, a war of words continued throughout the day among the leaders of both parties on electronic media and lovers of PML-N and PTI on social media. Twitter witnessed top trends like #RawindMarch #ChaloChaloRaiwindChalo by Khan lovers and in response PML-N matvalas run hashtag #WeHateYouNiazi (Niazi is Imran Khan clan).
There are different claims made by PTI and PML-N leaders about the numbers of the participants.
PTI leader Shireen Mazari said the participants were more than 200,000 while Faisal Vawda, another PTI leader from Karachi, claimed that 1.13 million people attended march. PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah claimed the number stand at 30,000.
Wearing white Shalwar Qameez and party flag around his neck, Imran Khan left his residence at Zaman Park for Haj Terminal at 5pm from where he headed toward venue at helicopter and reached at 7pm.

PTI leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pervaiz Khattak, Jahangir Tareen, Ch Sarwar, Shafqat Mahmood new fun vadios of imran khan , Yar Muhmmad Rind, Aleem Khan and others were with him on the stage. However, none of the political party’s leader or worker attended the yesterday’s PTI march except Awami Muslim League president Sheikh Rashid who during his speech termed himself and Imran the real opposition of PML-N.
The PAT had refused to participate claiming its workers might become violent as the place was nearer to the Sharifs’ residence. The PML-Q and the PPP had not attended the rally saying staging protests at front of politicians’ residences was not a good tradition.
The Jamaat, which is also the ally of PTI in KP government, said it was not invited to attend the march, though the JI itself led a protest rally towards Sharif’s residence in Raiwind in the past.
The JI’s “Corruption Free Pakistan” march in Faisalabad on the same day (Friday) was the other reason behind the non-participation of Jamaat in the march.
The women participated in large number against the earlier PTI’s rally in which they avoided attending due to episodes of misbehavior with them. The PTI tiger force and women members were deployed for the strict security of women enclosure.
Imran Khan had appealed to its workers from all over the province to gather at the Adda Plot who from Thursday night had started reaching in Raiwind. Their arrival continued from different cities including Karachi and Peshawar till yesterday late night.
A young worker Shahzad Khan from Lyari (Karachi) said he arrived in Lahore on call of his chairman to get the looted money from Nawaz Sharif.
Another bearded man from DG Khan said he was ready to sacrifice his life for making Pakistan a corruption free country.
A young man from Sialkot said he wanted accountability of the Sharif family and other accused named in Panama leaks. A women participant, Nighat from Ali Town of Lahore, said Imran Khan was the true leader and he could save the country from all crises.
Long queues of traffic were seen on Motorways and GT Road. Traffic remained stuck at Raiwind Road, Shaukat Khanum Road, near Duabi Town for hours due to rush of vehicles heading towards the venue.
Televisions run interviews of some PTI workers from different cities claiming the government attempted to block them – a claim the government denied.
A TV reported that PTI workers chanted Go-Nawaz-Go slogan when found State Minister Abid Sher Ali in a restaurant at Motorways near Bhera Interchange. But, Abid Sher claimed PTI workers made selfies with him. No untoward incident of clash between and unrest was reported against the fear of fight between PML-N and PTI workers created earlier when the PML-N workers had made Nawaz Sharif Janisar Force to stop PTI march in front of their leader’s residence.
In response, a Tiger Force was made by Imran Khan lovers.
Later, PML-N’s top leadership had said that they would not stop any PTI worker for attending the rally. But, a war of words continued throughout the day among the leaders of both parties on electronic media and lovers of PML-N and PTI on social media. Twitter witnessed top trends like #RawindMarch #ChaloChaloRaiwindChalo by Khan lovers and in response PML-N matvalas run hashtag #WeHateYouNiazi (Niazi is Imran Khan clan).
There are different claims made by PTI and PML-N leaders about the numbers of the participants.
PTI leader Shireen Mazari said the participants were more than 200,000 while Faisal Vawda, another PTI leader from Karachi, claimed that 1.13 million people attended march. PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah claimed the number stand at 30,000.

ISLAMABAD: A murder case has been registered against Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his brother and Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif, three federal ministers and top police officials over the alleged killing of two persons during last month's clashes between the police and anti-government protesters, police officials said on Wednesday.The case was registered at Islamabad's Secretariat police station under Anti-Terrorism Act and Pakistan Penal Code sections dealing with murder, attempted murder, attack and abetment of attack.On Monday, a court had ordered the Secretariat police to register the case after hearing a petition filed by the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) over the alleged killing of its workers. The deaths took place on night of August 30 when the police fired tear gas shells and rubber bullets on followers of cleric Tahirul Qadri-led PAT and Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to stop them from marching on the PM's house in Islamabad's heavily fortified red-zone. Apart from the two victims, who died from rubber bullet injuries, another PAT worker died that night due to cardiac arrest. Over 500 people were injured. According to the FIR, the crackdown orders were given by Nawaz Sharif and interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. The other to be booked include defence minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif, railways minister Khwaja Saad Rafique, former IG Islamabad Khalid Khattak, IG Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera, the IG Railways and other top officials of the Islamabad police and administration.

Amid Pakistan army's mediation efforts, protesters have stepped up pressure on the embattled government with cleric Tahir-ul-Qadri setting yet another deadline of 24 hours for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to quit.
In a late night development, Qadri's camp was visited by a delegation of Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PAT) led by vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who convinced the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief to delay his next move.
Following the meeting, the first direct contact between the two groups since they together started the march on August 14, Qadri set a 24-hour deadline for the prime minister to step down.

Israeli tank fire struck the fuel depot of Gaza's only power plant this morning, potentially cutting electricity to the enclave's 1.8 million residents.
The power plant, which supplies two thirds of the territory's energy needs, was engulfed in flames sending a column of black smoke into the air.
The plant was hit last week and had been operating on a reduced capacity providing only a few hours of electricity per day to Gaza's residents.
The plant's director said the plant was "finished".
"The power plant is finished," said its director, Mohammed al Sharif, who added the local fire brigade was not equipped to extinguish the blaze.
The depot was hit after another night of continued Israeli bombardment on Gaza, the heaviest in three weeks of fighting.
The home of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was hit by an Israeli missile early this morning causing damage but no casualties, Gaza's Interior Ministry said.

Mr Haniyeh's son confirmed the strike on his Facebook page but added that the house of the former Hamas Gaza prime minister was empty.
Haniyeh said in a statement. "My house is not more valuable than the houses of other people. Destroying stones will not break our determination."
Israeli aircraft, tanks and gunboats pounded targets in Gaza City that were symbols of Hamas government control, including the headquarters of the Hamas satellite TV station Al Aqsa and Al Aqsa radio.
