This a quick and easy How to recipe for a homemade Liquid Latex. I also show you how to make a DIY bullet wound with it. Good for people allergic to Latex....unless you also allergic to tapioca and gelatine.
Or maybe you just can't get your hands on some .
Takes a little longer to dry and is lumpier than store bought latex but works as a great substitute.

Ingredients:
1 Cup of water
1/4 Cup of Corn or Tapioca Flour/Starch
1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil
3 teaspoons /10 grams or 1 packet of gelatine (use an extra 5 grams for a stiffer mixer which you can use for horns, chins and noses)
Storage:
I would make it when I need to use it, it does keeps for a few days store in an air tight container but it's much easier to use when warm.
For the Bullet Wound you will need:
Skin Colour cream,paint or foundation
Red face paint/Makeup
Black Face paint/Makeup
A 1 ply Piece of Toilet paper
Some fake blood (corn syrup and chocolate sauce)
The Walking Dead Rocks

Liquid latex is often used for special effects make-up and body painting applications. There are several brands of on the market including Maximum Impact, Deviant, Brand X and the only Ammonia free latex from Liquid Latex Fashions. Liquid latex contains about one-third latex, two-thirds water (plus less than one percent ammonia to keep the latex from spoiling and to control the pH of the solution). Liquid latex is sold in jars ranging from 2 oz. through gallon jugs and the consistency is similar to latex house paint. A four ounce jar can typically cover an average sized body. It is typically applied using a disposable sponge and takes about five to ten minutes to dry depending on how thick it is applied. As it dries it solidifies to a rubbery consistency and in the processes ends up shrinking about three percent.
As the latex dries it becomes very tacky and will stick to itself if accidentally folded over. Most manufacturers offer a slick spray for latex once it is dry to take away the tackiness allowing the movement of the model's limbs. Alternatively, shimmer powders can be dusted over dried liquid latex to create metallic effects. One advantage to the tackiness of liquid latex is that it can act as an adhesive to attach things to the paint, such as zippers.

This a quick and easy How to recipe for a homemade Liquid Latex. I also show you how to make a DIY bullet wound with it. Good for people allergic to Latex....unless you also allergic to tapioca and gelatine. Or maybe you just can't get your hands on some . Takes a little longer to dry and is lumpier than store bought latex but works as a great substitute. Original Recipe from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0nl4D1eR10 Ingredients: 1 Cup of water 1/4 Cup of Corn or Tapioca Flour/Starch 1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil 3 teaspoons /10 grams or 1 packet of gelatine (use an extra 5 grams for a stiffer mixer which you can use for horns, chins and noses) Storage: I would make it when I need to use it, it does keeps for a few days store in an air tight container but it's much easier to use when warm. For the Bullet Wound you will need: Skin Colour cream,paint or foundation Red face paint/Makeup Black Face paint/Makeup A 1 ply Piece of Toilet paper Some fake blood (corn syrup and chocolate sauce) The Walking Dead Rocks ZNation rocks Happy Halloween. -

This a quick and easy How to recipe for a homemade Liquid Latex. I also show you how to make a DIY bullet wound with it. Good for people allergic to Latex....unless you also allergic to tapioca and gelatine. Or maybe you just can't get your hands on some . Takes a little longer to dry and is lumpier than store bought latex but works as a great substitute. This a quick and easy How to recipe for a homemade Liquid Latex. I also show you how to make a DIY bullet wound with it. Good for people allergic to Latex....unless you also allergic to tapioca and gelatine.
Or maybe you just can't get your hands on some .
Takes a little longer to dry and is lumpier than store bought latex but works as a great substitute.

Ingredients:
1 Cup of water
1/4 Cup of Corn or Tapioca Flour/Starch
1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil
3 teaspoons /10 grams or 1 packet of gelatine (use an extra 5 grams for a stiffer mixer which you can use for horns, chins and noses)
Storage:
I would make it when I need to use it, it does keeps for a few days store in an air tight container but it's much easier to use when warm.
For the Bullet Wound you will need:
Skin Colour cream,paint or foundation
Red face paint/Makeup
Black Face paint/Makeup
A 1 ply Piece of Toilet paper
Some fake blood (corn syrup and chocolate sauce)
The Walking Dead Rocks
ZNation rocks

All of the sfx makeup items I used (liquid latex, fake blood, scar wax, etc.) were from Spirit Halloween store. I like to think of this as my cute/sexy pin up girl with a creepy twist. I'd love to see you guys recreate this look and if you do go ahead and tag me in your photo ❤️ Also these brows are horrible but I guess corpses don't care so I should be alright haha.
