This event was awesome! I got two days full of lectures from speakers such as Dr. Neal Barnard, Susan Levin RD, Dr. John McDougall, Dr. David Jenkins, Dr. Garth Davis, Dr. Joel Kahn, Dr. Neil Cooper, Dr. Frank Hu, Brenda Davis RD, and many more. Also, ate a bunch of good, tasty high carb low fat vegan food which was also one of my favorite moments. Oh, and did I mention I got to me some of my heroes such as Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. McDougall, Susan Levin RD, Dr. Garth Davis, and a bunch of more awesome people?
I'm so fortunate I got to attend such an awesome conference and got to listen to all of the latest scientific evidence related to diabetes, as well as other chronic diseases. Also, really glad some of my peer dietetic students were there to gain some VALUABLE knowledge on nutrition and the ACTUAL benefits of a plant-based diet. I am optimistic that more and more health professionals will realize what the solution is to this health crisis the world is faced with, and that solution is a low fat, plant-based, vegan diet.

David Neal
David Neal (13 February 1932 – 27 June 2000) was a popular British television actor, active in the 1960s, '70s, '80s and '90s. He is chiefly remembered for a prolific range of supporting roles in major productions.
Multiple supporting roles in popular television
Although very rarely cast in a lead role, David Neal had significant supporting roles in episodes of a great range of highly popular British television series, including Softly, Softly, Z-Cars, Doctor Who, Inspector Morse, Poirot, The Bill, Wycliffe and Noah's Castle.
Classical acting
David Neal worked in a broad range of roles during his career. In 1970 he took a major supporting role (Cinna) in the all-star feature film of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (which starred Charlton Heston, Christopher Lee, Richard Chamberlain, Diana Rigg and Sir John Gielgud). A few years later (in 1979) he secured another significant supporting role as Richard le Scrope, Archbishop of York in both Henry IV, Part 1 and Henry IV, Part 2 in the BBC's major 'complete works of Shakespeare' series of television films.

David
David (/ˈdeɪvɪd/; Hebrew: דָּוִד, Modern David, Tiberian Dāwîḏ;ISO 259-3 Dawid; Arabic: داوُد Dāwūd; Syriac: ܕܘܝܕ Dawid; Ancient Greek: Δαυίδ; Latin: Davidus, David; Strong's: Daveed) was, according to the Books of Samuel, the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel, and according to the New Testament, an ancestor of Jesus. His life is conventionally dated to c. 1040 – 970 BCE, his reign over Judah c. 1010–970 BCE.
The Books of Samuel, 1 Kings, and 1 Chronicles are the only Old Testament sources of information on David, although the Tel Dan Stele (dated c. 850–835 BCE) contains the phrase בית דוד (bytdwd), read as "House of David", which many scholars confirm to be a likely plausible match to the existence in the mid-9th century BCE of a Judean royal dynasty called the House of David.
Depicted as a valorous warrior of great renown, and a poet and musician credited for composing much of the psalms contained in the Book of Psalms, King David is widely viewed as a righteous and effective king in battle and civil justice. He is described as a man after God's own heart in 1 Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22.

Vinny Golia
Vinny Golia (born March 1, 1946 in The Bronx, New York City, New York) is an American composer and multi-instrumentalist specializing in woodwind instruments. He performs in the genres of contemporary music, jazz, free jazz, and free improvisation.
Career
As a composer, Golia fuses the rich heritage of Jazz, contemporary classical and world music into his own unique compositions. Also a bandleader, he has presented his music to concert audiences in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the United States in ensembles varying dramatically in size and instrumentation. Golia has won numerous awards as a composer, including grants from The National Endowment of the Arts, The Lila Wallace Commissioning Program, The California Arts Council, Meet the Composer,Clausen Foundation of the Arts, Funds for U.S. Artists and the American Composers Forum. In 1982 he created the on-going 50 piece Vinny Golia Large Ensemble to perform his compositions for chamber orchestra and jazz ensembles.

I'm so fortunate I got to attend such an awesome conference and got to listen to all of the latest scientific evidence related to diabetes, as well as other chronic diseases. Also, really glad some of my peer dietetic students were there to gain some VALUABLE knowledge on nutrition and the ACTUAL benefits of a plant-based diet. I am optimistic that more and more health professionals will realize what the solution is to this health crisis the world is faced with, and that solution is a low fat, plant-based, vegan diet.

This event was awesome! Oh, and did I mention I got to me some of my heroes such as Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. McDougall, Susan Levin RD, Dr. Garth Davis, and a bunch of more awesome people?
I'm so fortunate I got to attend such an awesome conference and got to listen to all of the latest scientific evidence related to diabetes, as well as other chronic diseases. Also, really glad some of my peer dietetic students were there to gain some VALUABLE knowledge on nutrition and the ACTUAL benefits of a plant-based diet. I am optimistic that more and more health professionals will realize what the solution is to this health crisis the world is faced with, and that solution is a low fat, plant-based, vegan diet.

J. J. Sedelmaier Productions, Inc. is a design and animation studio started by J. J. Sedelmaier and Patrice Sedelmaier in 1990. It produces both print campaigns and animated films in a variety of styles and techniques.
Although known primarily for their cutting-edge commercial animation, such as Speed Racer, Slim Jim, FootJoy, Hotwire, 7UP, etc... the studio has also been integrally involved with some of the most important ground-breaking animation series work of the past decade. JJSP was the studio entrusted by MTV to animate 120 minutes of the first season of MTV's " Beavis & Butt-Head "; they were responsible for the animation used for the relaunch of " Schoolhouse Rock " for ABC ; and were co-creators, with Robert Smigel, of the " Saturday TV Funhouse " cartoons for NBC's Saturday Night Live.
The studio was the exclusive animation house for the first three seasons of the SNL "Funhouse" films, designing characters and animating such memorable series as " The X-Presidents ", " Fun With Real Audio ", " Animated Outtakes " and " The Ambiguously Gay Duo " (originally designed by J. J. Sedelmaier himself, and created by JJSP and Robert Smigel for the short-lived "Dana Carvey Show").
JJSP developed the pilot episode of "Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law", with Cartoon Network, that helped initiate the Network's Adult Swim block of cartoons. They also collaborated with Cartoon Network writer Stuart Hill
to develop and animate, for Cartoon Network, a series of interstitial shorts based on an ever-present "Captain Linger " super-hero character.
JJSP also created all designs and animation for the first season of The Colbert Report's "Tek Jansen" cartoon series. NBC/USA Network's hit series "Psych", contracted JJSP to develop, design and produce 2 seasons of their interstitial cartoon episodes, "The Big Adventures of Little Shawn and Gus."
As the studio's director and creative force, J. J. Sedelmaier oversees everything that is produced by JJSP. He is known in the industry as an all-around expert on the history of film and cartoons, animation, print art and illustration. His forte is translating print/illustration into film, and over the years has collaborated with many of the country's foremost illustrators and artists, including David Levine, Al Hirschfeld, Garry Trudeau, Alex Ross, Don Martin, Neal Adams, Douglas Fraser, Gary Baseman, and many others.
Equally important has been the ongoing efforts of an incredibly diligent and talented group of J. J. Sedelmaier Productions artists, animators and designers. The unique abilities of the production crew has contributed, over the years to the studio's extraordinarily diverse and entertaining collection of work.
