A psychopathic couple plan a murder with a difference in this impossibly rare Amicus horror. With fine performances from Vanessa Howard (in her very last feature film appearance) and Paul Nicholas as the nightmarish couple, and with a superb performance from Mona Washbourne as Gran, this powerfully chilling portrayal of sadism and amorality was originally intended for release under the title "Romeo and Juliet '71" when it was shot during February/March 1971. More info on the film can be found at https://www.facebook.com/VanessaHowardChartoff After post-production on "Romeo" was completed, the film was inexplicably abandoned before release, until it was resurrected in 1972 and given a very limited run overseas under its present title. (I previously thought 'Jack and Jill' had never been...

Jim Fetzer interviews Nick Kollerstrom Is Paul McCartney the world’s most famous and successful musician, or did he die fifty years ago in a tragic car accident? Whatever the answer, this talk is guaranteed to get you listening again to your old Beatles records. Did the remaining Beatles put ‘clues’ in their records from 1967 onwards, and are there secret messages heard if you play them backwards? Why was the Beatles’ manager Brian Epstein in a mental hospital in October 1966, was it really just a tiff with his boyfriend? Why could the world’s most successful band suddenly never play in public again from September 1966 onwards? This is a talk about death, transfiguration and the Swinging Sixties.

Phantom:
Night-time sharpens,
heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination
Silently the senses abandon their defences ...
Slowly, gently night unfurls its splendour
Grasp it, sense it - tremulous and tender
Turn your face away
from the garish light of day,
turn your thoughts away
from cold, unfeeling light -
and listen to the music of the night ...
Close your eyes and surrender to your
darkest dreams!
Purge your thoughts of the life
you knew before!
Close your eyes,
let your spirit start to soar!
And you'll live
as you've never lived before ...
Softly, deftly,
music shall surround you ...
Feel it, hear it,
closing in around you ...
Open up your mind,
let your fantasies unwind,
in this darkness which
you know you cannot fight -
the darkness of the music of the night ...
Let your mind start a journey
through a strange new world!
Leave all thoughts
of the world you knew before!
Let your soul take you where you
long to be !
Only then can you belong to me ...
Floating, falling, sweet intoxication!
Touch me, trust me savour each sensation!
Let the dream begin,
let your darker side give in
to the power of the music that I write -
the power of the music of the night ...
You alone can make my song take flight -
help me make the music of the night . . .
