Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (IATA: PHX, ICAO: KPHX, FAA LID: PHX) is a civil-military public airport 3 miles (5 km) southeast of downtown Phoenix, in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It is Arizona's largest and busiest airport, and among the largest commercial airports in the United States.

In 2015, the airport served 44,006,205 passengers, making it one of the top 10 busiest in the United States by passenger count. It handles more than 1,200 aircraft operations a day, 100,000 passengers and more than 800 tons of cargo. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) records show the airport had 20,169,926 commercial passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2012 and 20,211,799 in 2011.

The airport serves as a hub for American Airlines and is the airline's fifth-largest and primary western hub with 307 daily departures to more than 77 destinations in four countries. American carries 54% of all passengers through PHX, making it the airports largest carrier. Sky Harbor also serves as one of the largest focus cities for Southwest Airlines with 180 daily departures to 50 cities.

Sky Harbor Airport (FAA LID: S86) is a privately owned, public use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) east of the central business district of Sultan, a city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States.

Facilities and aircraft

Sky Harbor Airport covers an area of 20 acres (8 ha) at an elevation of 282 feet (86 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 7/25 with a turf surface measuring 1,930 by 100 feet (588 x 30 m).

For the 12-month period ending July 30, 2012, the airport had 600 general aviation aircraft operations, an average of 50 per month. At that time there were three single-engine aircraft based at this airport.

Sky Harbor Airport & Seaplane Base or Sky Harbor Airport(ICAO: KDYT, FAA LID: DYT) is a public airport in Duluth, Minnesota, United States. It is located near the Wisconsin border, between Superior Bay and Lake Superior. The airport is six nautical miles (11 km) southeast of the central business district of Duluth, Minnesota, on Minnesota Point within its city limits.

The airport is owned by the Duluth Airport Authority and has been operating for over 50 years. It is one of only four airports in Minnesota offering both a hard surface runway for airplanes and water landing areas for seaplanes.

Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Sky Harbor Airport is assigned DYT by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.

Sky Harbor Airport covers an area of 70 acres (28 ha) which contains one asphalt paved runway designated 14/32 which measures 3,050 by 75 feet (930 x 23 m). Runway 32 has a displaced threshold 658 ft past the beginning of the hard surface leaving 2,392 ft for landing. It also has two seaplane landing areas: 9W/27W is 5,000 by 1,500 feet (1,524 x 457 m) and 13W/31W is 10,000 by 2,000 feet (3,048 x 610 m).
