Raspberry Pi 2 - Media Centre
Using the RPi3 as a Media Centre with Chromium Browser on Raspbian OS for the best of both worlds - watch Videos online or via KODI Media Centre. Control the Pi with your smartphone, tablet or with a game controller (bluetooth) If you would like to do something similar - here are all the things I set up & the instructions I followed... My projector is only 720p & I have it greatly oversized too - so the wall resolution is only around 480p. With the Pi hooked up to my 1080p TV & watching a 1080p movie the quality was perfect & played flawlessly. Update: My make-shift wooden case seems to work well. I bought a plastic pi case off ebay but then the pi starts to overheat, so I went back to the wood version & it's good again. If you live in a hot country use a case with lots of ventilation. ...
Raspberry Pi 3 Media Centre with 1TB HDD and DVD in a VCR (MEHS) Epidose 43. I use an old VCR to house a Raspberry Pi 3 media centre complete with a 1TB HDD and a DVD player. The setup is simple as the new Pi 3 will drive a USB HDD and a DVD player as long as the DVD player gets the bulk of its power from an external source. Connect the USB HDD and the DVD player to the Pi 3 and power the Pi 3 from a good 2.4 amp or more power supply. Install Openelec, run and enjoy. Website: http://www.mtechshow.com

This is my Plex setup at home running off my 2012 Mac Mini (2.5GHz CPU, 4GB Memory and Intel HD Graphics 4000). I currently house all of my movies and episodes on my PC but will migrate them to a NAS when I can. It's an amazing HTPC, completely silent and just so smooth and so quick to use. If anyone has any questions, please ask away.
With all the legal issues and threats flying around about Kody Enthusiast being taken down by the actual company, persons within the community decided to FORK Kody and name it FMC. *************************************************************************** DONATE (SUPPORT MY CHANNEL BY CLICKING): https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations&business;=3EE7DKR3DHD8A&lc;=US&item;_name=Donate¤cy;_code=USD&bn;=PP%2dDonationsBF%3abtn_donateCC_LG%2egif%3aNonHosted Next YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/GeneralSlim1 Facebook PAGE: https://www.facebook.com/CazWallaceYouTuber Instagram: Caz_Wallace Twitter: Caz_Wallace SnapChat: Caz_Wallace http://kodicommunity.com (Username Caz Wallace) TwitchTV: GeneraSlim PSN: GeneraSlim *****************************************************...
