Welcome to my Adapter Design Pattern Tutorial! This is a very easy design pattern to grasp and put into use.
This pattern is used when you want to translate one interface of a class into another interface. Now, it makes sense that these 2 interfaces are compatible otherwise the pattern may not make sense. To accomplish this, all you need to do is bridge the differences using our old friend composition again.

The Metabones Canon EF adapter lets you mount Canon lenses to Sony E-mount or micro four thirds cameras depending on which model you get. This is an electronic adaptor which allows you to access the aperture of the lens, all the EXIF data from the lens and even supports auto-focus (sort of anyway).
One of the problems with lenses such as Canon EF or the Nikon G series is that there is no manual aperture adjustment. This makes it difficult to mount these lenses to other cameras.
In this video I will break down the pros and cons of the adaptor.

Microsoft's new wireless display adapter is a wireless HDMI dongle that uses Miracast to stream your device to any HDMI screen, such as a TV. It lets you stream Windows 10 to a TV, stream Android to a TV, but unfortunately not iOS or OSX, which both use Airplay.

Apple Digital AV Lightning to HDMI Adapter Test
I finally bought an official Apple Digital AV adapter, our you just call it Lightning to HDMI adapter from the Apple Store in Berlin. It's pricy yes and for most people an AppleTV might be the better choice, but if you are on the go and you don't have Wifi than this adapter is your only hope to hock up your iPhone or iPad to a TV or other big screen.

This pattern is used when you want to translate one interface of a class into another interface. Now, it makes sense that these 2 interfaces are compatible otherwise the pattern may not make sense. The Metabones Canon EF adapter lets you mount Canon lenses to Sony E-mount or micro four thirds cameras depending on which model you get. This is an electronic adaptor which allows you to access the aperture of the lens, all the EXIF data from the lens and even supports auto-focus (sort of anyway).
One of the problems with lenses such as Canon EF or the Nikon G series is that there is no manual aperture adjustment. This makes it difficult to mount these lenses to other cameras.
In this video I will break down the pros and cons of the adaptor.
