The Jordanaires were an American vocal quartet, which formed as a gospel group in 1948. They are known for providing background vocals for Elvis Presley, in live appearances and recordings from 1956 to 1972. The group has also worked in the recording studio, on stage, and on television with many other country and rock and roll artists.
The history of the Jordanaires can be traced back to the early 1940s, and the original Foggy River Boys, which were made up of the Matthews brothers, all ordained ministers: Bill (b. LaFollette, Tennessee, 1923), Monty (b. Pulaski, Kentucky, 1927), Jack, and Matt. In 1948, Matt and Jack left to become full-time preachers and were replaced by Bob Hubbard (b. Chaffee, Missouri, 1928), also a minister, and bass singer Culley Holt (b. McAlester, Oklahoma, 1925), and pianist Bob Money. After three years Money was replaced as pianist by Gordon Stoker. At that time, they formed the new group as the Melodizing Matthews, in Springfield, Missouri, but soon changed the name to the Jordanaires, after Jordan Creek in Missouri.

Plot: Set in the inner city, its about a group of individuals who aspire to achieve their goals and survive the trials and tribulations of life on the streets.Change The Game is a drama addressing the battles within oneself through the alleyways of our cities. The focus is on the determination of young minds to succeed and to define a brighter future for themselves above the racial and class issues that surround them. The story centers on Ray Walker, a half black, half white young male in his early 20s growing up on his own in an inner city. Ray's best friend Omar narrates the story alongside Ray and gives the audience the first look into Ray's childhood, from the rapes of his mother, to his perception of blacks and whites in society. Omar paints a picture of Ray as a troubled young mind whose desire to succeed is overshadowed by his ignorance as he involves himself in drug dealings, and swindles himself into a life of crime. Ray is met with many decisions that are influenced by the consequences that face them, Omar's disapproval of his lifestyle, as well as his girlfriend Amanda. Amanda is a young Caucasian woman who like Omar is striving to succeed in this society, by staying legit.

Three stories follow the fate of successive holders of this haunted weapon. The Great McDonacle is a second-rate trick shot artist; in his hands the gun cannot miss even the most difficult shots, but doesn't make him quite fast enough. Jack Fleetwood steals the gun from its sleeping owner; he can salt a mine with it and cheat an honest farmer by convincing him to buy this worthless mine, but the con man can be conned. Cole finds the gun on a skeleton; a fast draw becomes a reality, but tragedy comes to his brother. At the end, the gun is returned to the skeleton, waiting for its next victim.

Like a fresh manifestation of an old phenomenon
A breeze whips through the trees
The rustling leaves and branches bend together
they're cued to sway
forever by the forces of the Lord's choreography
Just for a second the combination of sights, sounds
around him
sends him hurtling back to the mirror of all of his teenager thoughts and fears
He passes big houses and family cars
they saddled the horses in cobblestone yards
He catches the moon looking down from the stars
Just like it's done for years and years
Perpetual feeling in the grown up world that's all
around him
that there's secrets that could be revealed with knowledge and philosophy
And "Oh to be dumb, Oh to be smart"
He might be nursing a broken heart
but feeling this way he's just playing a part
that's been around for centuries
I wandered all night, I wondered all night about you
