Suicide Squad Revealed
It’s almost here. After
SDCC we have a week and a half, and then Suicide Squad explodes across theaters! With DC’s third movie in their burgeoning
DCEU, news has been dropping all over the web, with a report from Collider.com. We’ve got director
David Ayers talking about the Batman as “Freaking
Scary” seen from the villains
POV. The panel go deep into the report and talk all things they’re excited about for the upcoming release.
Skrull, Skrulls, Skrulls!!!!
James Gunn has recently stated that the Skrulls are co-owned and can be in a
Marvel Film as well as all the Fox films - it just depends on which Skrull character is used and from what story.
Obviously, the Skrulls from the
Fantastic Four can’t be used, nor can the
Super Skrull; but the Kree Skrull War and the characters from those storylines? Now we are cooking. Is it cool that all the different companies that own
Marvel Characters can use the Skrulls if they want, and will this cause confusion chaos or sheer awesomeness? The panel break it down.
Wonder Woman Synopsis Released
With
Warner Brothers showcasing all of its big upcoming releases, they have released a detailed synopsis of Wonder Woman’s first film. “Before she was Wonder Woman, she was
Diana, princess of the
Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior.” The synopsis seems to follow the original comic book line and is directed by
Patty Jenkins; with a script by
Allen Heinberg and
Geoff Johns, from a story by
Zack Snyder and Allen Heinberg. The panel looks at the synopsis and the reveal of the writers and whether or not Wonder Woman’s first movie is in good hands.
