On my last day of Seattle I decided to take a ferry trip to Bainbridge Island. I had no idea what/who was there but I decided to do so. It was well worth it since I got to see spectacular views of Seattle from the ferry trip. The ferry was a cheap $8 for round trip. :) Audio: Around by PVNDV http://pvndv.bandcamp.com/track/around TWITTER: http://bit.ly/13S0acQ TUMBLR: http://bit.ly/18OU5EM INSTAGRAM: http://bit.ly/11J806J FACEBOOK: http://on.fb.me/16w8MIF

Riding the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island is one of me and CG's favorite activities. It only takes 35 minutes each way and you get a great view of the city from Puget Sound. You can take a car and drive around Bainbridge Island if you like, but we've never done that--the main part of town is just a short walk from the ferry terminal, so a car isn't necessary to see the town. There isn't anything in Bainbridge that we can't do in Seattle, but we love the ferry ride--it's cheap entertainment! In 2014, for walk on passengers, the fare is $8 per person, which is round trip since there is no fare charged from Bainbridge Island to Seattle. "Lonely" The first single from Between the Days was released on 30 March 1998, and was the very first music release to be released by Bainbridge in two years. The song is a bubblegum pop song written by Bainbridge and Owen Bolwell, and produced by Siew and samples the lyrics from the nursery rhyme "Georgie Porgie". Bainbridge states the song is about relationships in the 1990s, she explains "Women are really testing their boundaries and exploring their sexuality. It's a very different time. Roles are still undefined and quite confusing. Women are reluctant to be aggressive because they are afraid they are going to wind up alone. Basically, it takes courage to explore yourself." The single peaked at number forty on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart and number eighteen on the U.S. Billboard ...
