The mother-of-two, 33, with identical twin boys on the way, roped in her two-year-old daughter Billie to boast about her latest purchase - Kmart's $2 bowls - to her 481,000 Instagram followers on Wednesday.

"Those $2 Kmart bowls which are all over their ad are seriously [emoji for OK]🏻 I may have bought them in every size and colour #notspon #justawesome," she wrote to indicate she was not paid for the post.

Some publications are reporting the bowls - that come in black, taupe and pink - are now "sold out", but that is not the case.

Although some Judd fans have commented to say they are finding it difficult to locate the dishes in some stores, they were available in selected locations around the country and some stores online as of Thursday morning.

"Great, no wonder they are sold out, tried today and no deal," one follower commented.

Another added: "I went back to Kmart on Saturday to get the rest of the set and still none left!!"

Others were surprised that Judd, who is married to retired Carlton Football Club player Chris, 32, shops at the discount chain.

"Bec Judd even rates the Kmart bowls," a follower remarked, while another tagged her as a "Kmart girl".

Despite Judd saying the post was not sponsored and Kmart confirming to Fairfax Media that she was not paid, many noted that her backing for the economical dinnerware was "great marketing" for the company.

"Good job selling those bowls, ha," another said.

"The only time I will ever have the same stuff as Bec Judd," a fan wrote about the Channel 9 Postcards and weather presenter, who posted a picture last week of herself doing the "housework" in a slim white dress.

Kmart has reinvented itself to become a market leader in fashionable homewares in recent times.

Today, Kmart is where Target was seven years ago, with Kmart's first-half earnings in 2016 at $319 million, while Target has slumped to $74 million.
