We shot Hartford, Connecticut for our fourth video in our Blank by Drone series, and this is the first video to be completed as part of our cross-country roadtrip to make aerial videos of cities around the country. We've got many more in the works, so please subscribe to see more.
The weather didn't cooperate for us when we first arrived in Hartford, so our first three days were spent waiting for the rain to leave. Then we spent five more days there, getting the shots you see in this video. The sunset at the end of the video is one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen in years!
The equipment used to shoot this was a DJI Phantom 2 with a Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal and a GoPro Hero4 mounted on it. I have had so many problems with the H4-3D Gimbal that I decided to go back to the H3-3D, and it is working much better. I may try to do a video on that at some point, but that will be awhile. All editing was done with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.

As big shout out goes to Cabela's of Hartford, where we were able to park our RV for the majority of the time we were there.

Dave Chappelle
David Khari Webber "Dave" Chappelle(/ʃəˈpɛl/, born August 24, 1973) is an American comedian, screenwriter, producer, and actor. After beginning his film career in 1993 as Ahchoo in Mel Brooks' Robin Hood: Men in Tights, he landed major supporting roles in box office hits including The Nutty Professor, Con Air, and Blue Streak. His first lead role was in the 1998 comedy film Half Baked, directed by Tamra Davis and co-written by Neal Brennan and Chappelle himself.
In 2003, he became more widely known for his sketch comedy television series, Chappelle's Show, co-written with Neal Brennan, which ran until his retirement from the show two years later. By 2006, Chappelle was called "the comic genius of America" by Esquire and, in 2013, "the best" by a Billboard writer. The show continues to run in popular late-night syndication and on television networks around the world. Comedy Central ranks him No. 43 in the "100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time."
