Not all birds go through the trouble of building a nest, but among those that do some really extraordinary efforts are put forth.
Here are 10 facts about birds' nests.
Number 10. Some of them are built on water. The Lily Trotter is one type of many that chooses a floating nest over trees or cliffs. Unfortunately, they're not very meticulous when it comes to construction and a lot of them end up sinking. Luckily their eggs are waterproof.
Number 9. Not all birds use earth, sticks, and twigs. Take the Elf Owl, for example. This desert dweller has scant resources so it takes shelter in the holes in cacti and canyon trees left by Woodpeckers and Flickers.
Number 8. Barn Swallows are particularly committed to the task. They make their abodes out of mud mixed with other materials, and building a single nest can take about 12 hundred trips between the material source and the construction site.
Number 7. Sociable Weaver Birds build communes.The giant nests these southern African birds make are meant to house numerous other avian species. That way, the Sociable Weavers get added protection and information about new food sources.
Number 6. Edible-nest Swiflets' creations are delicacies. The Southeast Asian birds build their nests on the sides of cliffs, using layers of their own saliva. Even though the structures have no flavor or nutritional value, they are a highly sought after edible and one of the most expensive food items in the world.
Number 5. Cigarettes are a key feature in some nests in Mexico. Both house sparrows and house finches living in urban areas there have taken to throwing a few cigarette butts in their homes. It's believed they do it because the nicotine in the filter fibers wards off parasites.
Number 4. The world's tiniest bird builds the world's smallest nest. The Bee Hummingbird is only about two inches long and makes a nest the size of a doll's teacup. It's so little, it's secured to branches with threads from spider webs.
Number 3. For the Great Crested Flycatcher, texture is everything. These birds prefer crinkly surfaces, so often use snakeskin in their nests. They've also been known to take advantage of onion peels, cellophane and flimsy plastic wrappers they find along their way.
Number 2. Gyrfalcons use their nests for millennia. Many birds build a fresh nest every time they lay eggs, but not these falcons. They return to the same one year after year and generation after generation. One such site in Greenland was radiocarbon dated and found to be around 25 hundred years old.
Number 1. Tailorbirds sew theirs. They grab some leaves and spider web or cocoon silk and put their needle-like beaks to work punching holes and pulling the threads through them.

"Cheep Cheep" spans a twenty day period of time, and is appropriate for all ages. The story illustrates the incredible process of development in the life of a baby bird, and gives a heartwarming glimpse at the touching bond between parent and child.

Bird's nest is indigenous to Indonesia, especially in Sumatra. We have been blessed with this natural resources and our family have been consuming bird's nest regularly for decades and have benefited from this highly nutritious delicacy.
Until the turn of the century, we have cultivated bird's nest only for our own consumption. However in 1999, we decided to build a larger house for the swiftlets that are found naturally in abundance in our city of Palembang. Blessed by the strategic location and the presence of natural food sources, we were able to provide the ideal living conditions for the swiftlets to nest in. Over time, thousands of swiftlets nestled in our swiftlet house and the population increased exponentially.
From the water supply to the proper lighting conditions to the maintenance of the house, we take pride in providing the best for our "feathery friends". It is because of the clean swiftlet house and our dedication to providing a conducive environment for the swiftlets; we are constantly rewarded with high quality nests with very little impurities. Every nest is carefully harvested by our skilled keeper and the feathers delicately removed to maintain the natural shape and fibre strands of the nests. The cleaned nests are then sorted out base on its shape and purity. Finally, we pack them in our own facility to ensure a high standard of quality and purity of bird's nest suitable for human consumption.

Bird's nest is indigenous to Indonesia, especially in Sumatra. We have been blessed with this natural resources and our family have been consuming bird's nest regularly for decades and have benefited from this highly nutritious delicacy. Until the turn of the century, we have cultivated bird's nest only for our own consumption. However in 1999, we decided to build a larger house for the swiftlets that are found naturally in abundance in our city of Palembang. Every nest is carefully harvested by our skilled keeper and the feathers delicately removed to maintain the natural shape and fibre strands of the nests. The cleaned nests are then sorted out base on its shape and purity. Finally, we pack them in our own facility to ensure a high standard of quality and purity of bird's nest suitable for human consumption.

Birds like: Bronze-winged jacana and White-breasted waterhen build nest on aquatic plants with dead leaves and straws.
Kite, Vulture, Eagle, Lesser adjutant etc. birds build large nests.
They can be seen nesting in gardens, human habitat and forests.
They choose tree top to build nest.
Nests of Black Kite and Brahminy Kite are constructed of small branches, straws and junks with a bowl inside.
They fly round their nest with food in mouth and then descend to feed baby bird.
Lesser Adjutants also build large nest.
Their nest is a large platform of branches placed on a tall tree.
Falcons build large nest on high places.
If not disturbed, they use the same nest for several years.
House crows and Sparrows have become habituated to live around human.
They are rarely seen in forests.
Being a scavenger bird, House crows have adapted well with city life.
They build nest on trees for breeding.
Sparrows build nest around human habitat.
In breeding time they build nest in holes or cracks of human houses.
Breeding is vital for any organism to survive.
Breeding process largely depends on safe habitat.
But safe habitats of birds are being damaged due to destruction of plants.
This is hampering Birds’ breeding system.
As a result, Birds diversity is decreasing in our country and the whole ecosystem is becoming unbalanced.
Accordingly, we need take apt initiative to conserve Birds’ species.
We need to ensure safe breeding environment for Birds to facilitate their survival.
Only then we’ll get a better life in balanced nature.

In 7 Days To Die, the player spawns into a randomly generated world or the preset world of Navezgane, Arizona, with the objective of surviving for as long as possible. As the days go by, the zombies get tougher and more aggressive. The game features the ability to craft, destroy, and manipulate objects. The game also comes with a physics system in which building a structure with no support such as pillars and walls can lead to its collapse. The game is voxel-based, allowing for simple building, and destruction of objects in a fully physics-simulated environment with smooth terrain. The game's main focus is to have the players try to survive the night, as the game features a day and night cycle, making the zombies slow and weak during the day, yet fast and aggressive during nighttime. The game features a system in which the character constantly needs food and water. Objects in the world degrade through use, so the player has to search for or make new tools as the game progresses. Currently the game is in Alpha phase and does not have many of the planned features, such as NPC quests, vehicles, temperature survival elements and skill trees. The world is fully destructible and mold-able. The player can build their own house or destroy existing ones in order to gather materials to construct a fort. The game also features a stealth and distraction system to avoid unnecessary conflict with the zombies. Carrying raw meat or foods that have a smell means the zombies can detect the player. The zombies in 7 Days to Die will climb, dig, destroy walls, doors, or even entire buildings if necessary to get to the player and kill them. The player needs to set up traps for the defense of his or her base in order to survive.
