Nomi Abadi interview - 4th Annual Zeitgeist Media Festival! Nomi Abadi is a singer/songwriter, born and raised in South Orange County. A piano prodigy, she began playing the piano at the age of 3. She performed as a guest soloist in her first concert with the Orange County Chamber Orchestra at age 5. As a child, she also appeared on numerous television shows such as Crook and Chase, This Is Amazing (hosted by Pat O’Brien), and Showbiz Today, and was featured on the front page of the LA Times and the Orange County Register. At 8 years old, she attended the Mannes School of Music in New York City, where she lived for one year, before returning to her native California. When she was 11, Nomi embarked on a three-week classical tour of Eastern Europe, playing concerts in Budapest and Prague.
