"Be Italian" From Nine the Musical
#TBT Here is the original Broadway Company of the Tony Award-winning, Nine, singing "Be Italian" at the 1982 Tony Awards!
Opened on May 9th, 1982, this revolutionary musical shocked the Broadway community with its late entry and subsequent win at the Tony Awards that year. Originally created written by Maury Yeston based on Fellini's 8 1/2, it was further developed with a book by Mario Fratti, and then again with a book by Arthur Kopit, music and lyrics by Maury Yeston. Directed by Tommy Tune with choreography by Thommie Walsh and musical direction by Jonathan Tunick.
Starring Raul Julia as Guido, Karen Akers as Luisa, Liliane Montevecchi as Liliane, Anita Morris as Carla, Shelly Burch as Claudia, Camille Saviola as Mama Maddelena, Kathi Moss as Saraghina, Cameron Johann as Young Guido, ...

EU bail-out fund operational in July 2012, says Rehn
Vice-president for Economic and Monetary Affairs olli Rehn on Tuesday told journalists during a press conference at the European Council that the European Stability Fund will be "in place and operational" from 1st July 2012. Rehn also added that the ESM and the fiscal compact treaties will be linked in order to ensure efficiency.

Rehn also added that the ESM and the fiscal compact treaties will be linked in order to ensure efficiency.
