Lowell may refer to:
Lowell is a crater in Aonia Terra, Thaumasia quadrangle, Mars. Lowell crater has a ring of mountains on its floor which gives it a sort of bull's eye appearance.
Nearby features include the craters Slipher to the north and Coblentz to the southwest, the small mountain Aonia Mons to the west, and Aonia Planum to the southeast.
The crater was named after Percival Lowell who build the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff Arizona in 1894. He used the observatory to discover over 500 canals on Mars. Lowell promoted the idea that they were constructed by an intelligent race. However, when pictures were received from spacecraft, the canals were found to be illusions. Nevertheless, much of the later interest in Mars exploration resulted from the efforts of Percival Lowell.

Lowell is a city in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, in the United States. With an estimated population of 109,945, it is the fourth-largest city in Massachusetts, after Boston, Worcester, and Springfield, and the second-largest in what the U.S. Census Bureau defines as Boston's metropolitan area.
Incorporated in 1826, Lowell became known as the cradle of the American Industrial Revolution, and many of the city's historic sites have been preserved by the National Park Service. Lowell is home to the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a Carnegie-classified research university and the second largest public university in Massachusetts. Along with Cambridge, Lowell is one of Middlesex County's historical county seats prior to the abolition of county government in 1997.
Founded in the 1820s as a planned manufacturing center for textiles, Lowell is located along the rapids of the Merrimack River, 25 miles northwest of Boston in what was once the farming community of East Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The so-called Boston Associates, including Nathan Appleton and Patrick Tracy Jackson of the Boston Manufacturing Company, named the new mill town after their visionary leader, Francis Cabot Lowell, who had died five years before its 1823 incorporation. As Lowell's population grew, it acquired more land from neighboring towns, and diversified into a full-fledged urban center. Many of the men who composed the labor force for constructing the canals and factories had immigrated from Ireland, escaping the poverty and Potato Famines of the 1830s and 1840s. The mill workers, young single women called Mill Girls, generally came from the farm families of New England.
Randy is both a given name, and a pet name in the English language, popular in North America. It is primarily a masculine name. It was originally derived from the names Randall, Randolf, Randolph, Bertrand and also Andrew. Randi is approximately the feminine equivalent of the name Randy.
Randy (subtitled Băp!! Beep Boo-Bee Băp Beep-M-Boo Bee Băp!) is an album by American jazz pianist Randy Weston recorded in 1963 and originally released on Weston's own label, Bakton. The album was later reissued in 1972 on the Atlantic label under the title African Cookbook.
Allmusic awarded the album 4 stars, stating: "When this set was recorded in 1964, pianist Randy Weston had no luck interesting any label to release the music, so he came out with it independently on his tiny Bakton company... It is surprising that no company in the mid-1960s signed Weston up because "Willie's Tune" from the set had the potential to catch on, "Berkshire Blues" is somewhat known and the mixture of accessible bop with African rhythms overall is appealing... An excellent outing."

Super Life-Form Transformers: Beast Wars Neo (超生命体トランスフォーマー ビーストウォーズネオ, Chō Seimeitai Toransufōmā: Bīsuto Uōzu Neo) is a 1999 Japanese Transformers television animated series and toy line, and a sequel to Beast Wars II.Hozumi Gōda reprised his role as Lio Convoy from Beast Wars II whenever he appeared in this series. Each episode runs for 30 minutes and it was broadcast in standard 4:3 as this was aired in 1999, years before widescreen on TV became common.
The series focuses on a battle between Maximal and Predacon factions for possession of an energy source called Angolmois. The lone "one-man army" Big Convoy is assigned the task of being teacher to a group of young recruits against Magmatron's group. By the end of the series, however, both forces unite to oppose the wrath of the dark god Unicron and his sub-group; the Blendtrons..
Beast Wars Neo's toy line contains exclusive figures available only in Japan, some of which later became available to other fans via the Hasbro online store or were available in later series, sometimes repainted and remolded. The Transformers: Universe release of Nemesis Prime was Hasbro's repaint of Big Convoy and was released in Australia as exclusive item, in addition to being a Target exclusive in the United States. Magmatron also ended up as a Target exclusive, while various other figures from the line were introduced in the United States as repaints for various lines.
