Maurice (pronounced Morris) is a 1987 British romantic drama film based on the novel of the same name by E. M. Forster. It is a tale of gay love in early 20th century England, following its main character Maurice Hall from his school days through university until he is united with his life partner.
Maurice was produced by Ismail Merchant via Merchant Ivory Productions and Film Four International, directed by James Ivory, and written by Ivory and Kit Hesketh-Harvey, with cinematography by Pierre Lhomme. In the style of Merchant Ivory's A Room with a View, old book endpapers accompany the theme music played in minor scale at the beginning and in major scale at the end to bracket the film as a cinematographic novel.
The film stars James Wilby as Maurice, Hugh Grant as Clive and Rupert Graves as Alec. The supporting cast included Denholm Elliott as Dr Barry, Simon Callow as Mr Ducie, Billie Whitelaw as Mrs Hall, and Ben Kingsley as Lasker-Jones.
During a trip to a windswept beach, Maurice Hall, an 11-year-old schoolboy, receives instructions about the "sacred mysteries" of sex from his teacher, who wants to explain to the fatherless boy the changes he would experience in puberty.
A short documentary portrait of Maurice Laroche, owner and projectionist of the 'Beverley', the last Porno Cinema in Paris (and possibly Europe, maybe the entire world) still playing 35mm films. The film depicts a technician holding on to his dying Art, even if it is against his own better judgment. 'Maurice' is an anthropological document of a man, a subculture, and a physical space that are slipping towards becoming obsolete.

Plot: Once upon a time, a briefcase full of diamonds purchased by French Mobster Dede Fratelini were headed to its owner in Paris via Las Vegas, but the diamonds inconveniently disappeared somewhere in the middle of the Nevada desert. A ruthless killer on his way to prison escapes captivity and intercepts the briefcase by killing the carrier and hijacking his car. His ex-girlfriend Tatiana and her current lover Buitre foil his plans, disabling him. Now, FBI agent Franco Valle has to recover the diamonds and retrace their path, proving to be a complicated, and at times comical, task. This 95 minute comedy/action-packed feature film brings the famous Spaghetti Westerns of the sixties back to life with a touch of modern technology and humor. Filmed in anamorphic format to take advantage of the beautiful landscape of western Europe and the Nevada Desert, this nonsense story of a race for a fistful of diamonds takes you around the globe and ends right back to where it started: in the middle of the Mojave desert!

Genres: Short,It's funny how things work out, in this life
Just seem like I just can't, can't feel right
Of waking up next to her, in this hotel room
Staring at her sleeping face, fresh and
Not knowing how can I go,
Asking where we were broken
Cause I want a brand new beginning with you
[Chorus]
Can we go back, wanna rewind
I miss the good days, we had to say goodbye
I know that, I messed up, my heart's in trouble
We had to say goodbye
I'm missin all your good walk, into my room
Or with the flash or your pretty smile, you can my wounds
I like the good days and all the feelings that she do
Even if love, I miss there
Not knowing how can I go,
Asking where we were broken
Cause I want a brand new beginning with you
[Chorus]
Can we go back, wanna rewind
I miss the good days, we had to say goodbye
I know that, I messed up, my heart's in trouble
We had to say goodbye
I know that, you needed space
Need one more time, just to see your face
They say to let it go, when you come expect of you
When you really know
[Chorus]
Can we go back, wanna rewind
I miss the good days, we had to say goodbye
I know that, I messed up, my heart's in trouble
We had to say goodbye
