Skins is a 2002 feature film by Chris Eyre and based upon the novel of the same name by Adrian C. Louis. The film is set on the fictional Beaver Creek Indian Reservation in South Dakota near the Nebraska border, a place very much like the actual Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, the setting in the book and the place where the film was actually shot. Lakota Sioux tribal police officer Rudy Yellow Lodge (Eric Schweig) struggles to rescue his older, alcoholic brother, Mogie (Graham Greene), a former football star who was wounded in combat three times in Vietnam. Winona LaDuke makes a cameo appearance as Rose Two Buffalo.
Rudy and Mogie Yellow Lodge are Lakota Sioux brothers on the Beaver Creek Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Mogie, unemployed and with a teenage son. Rudy, a police officer, struggles to care for his brother, nephew and the rest of the town through the hands of law. Mogie resists Rudy's attempts, preferring to drink and joke about the depressed state of their people and town. As a child, Rudy had been bitten by a spider, and Mogie told him it was Iktomi, the trickster spider; this spider re-appears to Rudy early in the film and Rudy's attempts to help begin to wander outside the lines of the law.
Daniel Flaherty (born June 11, 1993), known professionally as Danny Flaherty, is an American actor, known for his role as Stanley Lucerne on the MTV television teen drama Skins.
By the age of 17, Flaherty was already a veteran of the indie-arty short film scene, having acted in Spark, Vacant, The Parade, and Portnoy. He also makes music; Daniel writes songs, sings, and plays guitar in a local New Jersey band. Other hobbies include skateboarding and ultimate frisbee. His resume lists "fearless roller coaster rider" as one of his skills.
Daniel originally went to the New York open call but didn’t get a callback. His agent arranged a private audition and it seems like the individual attention was just what he needed to snag the role of Stanley. Daniel's favorite part of working on Skins is getting to contribute to the development of his character.
Daniel started studying acting at age 11. When he turned 13, he booked his first short film, My First Kiss.
In 2010, Flaherty was cast as Stanley Lucerne in the MTV adaptation of the British teen drama Skins. His character is based on the character Sid Jenkins from the original Skins UK show.

for life existance and what its worth
so stop playin your skin tricks on me
