Cosmos Rings Exclusively For
Apple Watch Square Enix is cooking up something exclusively for Apple Watch! Cosmos Rings is the newest role-playing game that will be solely developed for the no. 1 smartwatch and not for
Android Wear gadgets. The publishing company has filed a trademark in
Europe for the role playing game.Not much information can be provided about the game and what form it will take but the game will utilize the capability of the Apple Watch. The user will be notified of game-related messages depending on the statistics of steps taken.The website only showed a teaser which could not give enough details about the new game. However, this is not the initial role-playing game for the watch. In fact, Runeblade can be played with Apple Watch, according to
Polygon.Since Cosmos Rings is going to be Square Enix's initial endeavor regarding Apple Watch role-playing game, the category is not completely new to the platform.During the launch of
Watch App Store last year, it was occupied with several fantasy games including Watch
Quest!
Heroes of
Time and Runeblade to name a few. However, it isn't clear yet how Cosmos Rings will be connected to the
Chaos Rings series.It is a candid
RPG for iOS revealing little to the category aside from the fully administered touchscreen controls. It has four games in the franchise that are already released, with
Chaos III still available.Square Enix is a publisher, developer and a distribution company from
Japan that is well-known for its RPG franchises such as
Dragon Quest,
Final Fantasy, and
Kingdom Hearts. Many of its franchises sold more than
10 million copies. It is headquartered in
Shinjuku Eastside Square Building in
Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Yusuke Naora will be responsible for the art direction. He is also accountable for the most cherished games of Final Fantasy including the anticipated
Final Fantasy XV. Takehiro Ando will produce the game.With the great breakthrough in technology, it will not be surprising if Cosmos Rings will make use of
GPS to compete with the phenomenal Pokémon GO that took the world by storm.Cosmos Rings is set to launch in Japan this summer.
