WWE declared that the man who made the tombstone move famous is still under the outfit and is not relegated to an advisory role. An official from the wrestling company declared to the Washington Post that the story was inaccurate. The statement of the WWE came after all indicators suggested that the Undertaker (Mark William Calaway in real life) is retiring from professional wrestling and choosing an advisory role that would give him time flexibility and the ability to pick his projects. The Inquisitor reports that the Undertaker is leaning towards the advisory post to "give NXT talents some pointers and help drive the 'WWE etiquette' into developmental talents." The WWE is rumoured to counter that offer by giving him an expanded role in the parent company and lining him up for more blockbuster matches, which could swing Calaway's decision to turn his back on the outfit that made him a household name. The talks began when the Undertaker attended the WWE NXT taping and he declared that he is taking an advisory role in the developmental program of NXT. The plan he bared was centred around his involvement in limited basis by appearing in the Center in Orlando to mentor some young wrestlers. While the WWE quashed the transfer talks, the outfit was mum on the retirement issues surrounding the former undefeated Wrestlemania sensation. As early as June, there were talks that as soon as Taker recovers from the concussion injury he suffered at the hands of reigning world heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, he will be paired with new acquisition Sting at the next edition of Wrestlemania.
