Yvette Cooper (born 20 March 1969) is a British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford since 2010, having been the MP for Pontefract and Castleford since 1997. She is married to former MP and Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer Ed Balls.
She served in the Cabinet between 2008 and 2010 under Prime Minister Gordon Brown as Chief Secretary to the Treasury and then as Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. In 2010 Cooper was appointed Shadow Foreign Secretary. From 2011 to 13 September 2015 she was the Shadow Home Secretary; she resigned from that post when Jeremy Corbyn won the Labour Party leadership contest.
On 13 May 2015, Cooper announced she would run to be Leader of the Labour Party in the leadership election following the resignation of Ed Miliband. Cooper came third (out of four) to Jeremy Corbyn in the election, gaining 17% of the vote in the first round, compared to 59.5% for Corbyn.
David William Donald Cameron (/ˈkæmᵊrən/; born 9 October 1966) is an English politician who has served as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom since 2010, as Leader of the Conservative Party since 2005 and as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Witney since 2001.
Cameron studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at Brasenose College, Oxford. He then joined the Conservative Research Department and became special adviser, first to Norman Lamont and then to Michael Howard. He was Director of Corporate Affairs at Carlton Communications for seven years. Cameron first stood for Parliament in Stafford in 1997. He ran on a Eurosceptic platform, breaking with his party's then-policy by opposing British membership of the single European currency, and was defeated by a swing close to the national average. He was first elected to Parliament in the 2001 general election for the Oxfordshire constituency of Witney. He was promoted to the Opposition front bench two years later and rose rapidly to become head of policy co-ordination during the 2005 general election campaign. With a public image of a youthful, moderate candidate who would appeal to young voters, he won the Conservative leadership election in 2005.

The Conservative government is to blame for the state of the National Health Service, Labour MP Yvette Cooper has said. Ms Cooper, from Stronger in Europe, said leaving the EU would lead to job loss and employment rights. "It is working people who will be hardest hit by Brexit," she added.
Labour MP Yvette Cooper gets a roasting over Labour's record on the crime. Somehow despite Labour creating over 3000 non crimes in 13 years, crime had fallen. So either the entire UK population got law abiding, or the police and Labour home office were LYING about the amount of crime in the UK. You figure out which is more likely. Don't forget, as the police are now just revenue raisers for the government, people have given up reporting crime, because the police are THAT bloody useless you'd just waste your breath with a 999 call.
