Enjoy the action bollywood movie, Kartavya (1995), directed by Raj Kanwar, starring Sanjay Kapoor and Juhi Chawla in the lead roles. Plot: Gayatri (Aruna Irani), hails from a rich family and is the only heiress of the entire property. Ugranarayan Singh (Amrish Puri), her step-brother, is unable to accept this fact and hence is always in bad terms with Gayatri. When Gayatri displays her wish to marry Suraj Singh (Raj Kiran), she is refused for the same, Ugranarayan gets Suraj killed by his goons. Very easily, he passes on the blame towards Gayatri, who is sent to prison and is sentenced death by the court. In prison, Gayatri learns that she is expecting a baby and with the help of a lawyer, Sharda Verma (Moushumi Chatterjee), manages to plead against the death sentence. After giving birth to a baby boy, Ugranarayan hires Ghulam Rusal (Om Puri) to kill the baby and informs Ugranarayan that the baby has been killed. Ugranarayan also manages to prove that Gayatri is not mentally stable, who is then sent to a rehabilitation centre for treatment. Years pass by, and Gayatri's son, Karan (Sanjay Kapoor), who was assumed to be dead, falls in love with Kajal (Juhi Chawla). Karan, since his childhood, was brought up by Sharda. When he puts fowards his decision of marrying Kajal, Sharda informs him that Gayatri is his real mother. What is Karan's reaction to the same? Will he be able to accept this harsh truth?
