#CUBA: What a country, what a culture, what an adventure!!! Cuba was one of our best adventures so far, so it's hardly surprising that this video lands straight on our highlights reel.
You guys know we are addicted to travel and that we do it on a super tight budget, so leaving our VW Kombi home behind and backpacking to Cuba was a real vacation for us.
In the Cuba episode we use everything that we've learnt about travel to hunt out the best deals and free adventures so that we could make this trip possible.
Honestly Cuba has two sides, the local side and the tourist side - they even both have separate currencies would you believe?!
A lot of the Cuban tourist scene that is presented to you is 5 Star hotels and Caribbean beaches. In this 2 part series we wanted to strip all that away and show you the real Naked Cuba, and also show you that Cuba can be one of the most exciting and cheap places to travel in the world!
For the first time since we met little Alaska (the adventure Pup) (back in Lima, Peru we had to leave her behind to look after the Kombi, but don't worry she will be back for more K9 adventures really soon.
Until then, we're going on a Backpacking Adventure, and we are taking you with us!

Este viejo oficio ha cobrado auge en Cuba por la oferta del mercado que viene de la mano con los turistas, y la falta de otras opciones legales de ganar suficiente dinero para vivir en Cuba. El comercio informal es igual de ilegal, y tiene la desventaja de que en cualquier encuentro con la policía se pierde la mercancía, que en si misma es una prueba del delito. En cambio a las jineteras, los policías no tienen nada que quitarle, en todo caso, exigen que paguen con sus servicios, y muchas lo hacen. En Cuba, cualquier jinetera gana mas que un doctor o un ingeniero, que un policía, o que un funcionario gubernamental, sin embargo, no requiere ni la preparación ni tiene horarios ni jefes.

Cuba, officially the Republic of Cuba (Spanish: 
República de Cuba ), is a country comprising the islands of Cuba, Isla de la Juventud and several archipelagos in the Caribbean Sea. The capital and largest city Havana is 365 km (227 mi) from Miami, Florida. Geographically, Cuba is considered part of North America. Culturally, it is considered part of Latin America.
Prior to Spanish colonization in the late 15th century, Cuba was inhabited by Amerindian tribes. It remained a colony of Spain until the Spanish–American War of 1898, which led to nominal independence as a de facto U.S. protectorate in 1902. As a fragile republic, Cuba attempted to strengthen its democratic system, but mounting political radicalization and social strife culminated in the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista in 1952. Further unrest and instability led to Batista's ousting in January 1959 by the July 26 movement, which afterwards established a government under the leadership of Fidel Castro. Since 1965, the country has been governed by the Communist Party of Cuba.

Calvin Harris
Adam Richard Wiles (born 17 January 1984), better known by his stage name Calvin Harris, is a Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter, record producer, recording artist and remixer. His debut album, I Created Disco, was released in 2007 and was the precursor to his top-10 singles "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls". In 2009, Harris released his second studio album, Ready for the Weekend, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and earned a gold certification from the British Phonographic Industry within two months of release. Its lead single, "I'm Not Alone", became his first number one on the UK Singles Chart.
Harris rose to international prominence in 2012 with the release of his third studio album, 18 Months. Topping the UK charts, the album became his first to chart on the Billboard 200 in the US, reaching number 19. All eight of the album's singles; "Bounce", "Let's Go", "We'll Be Coming Back", "Sweet Nothing", "Drinking from the Bottle", "I Need Your Love", "Thinking About You" and "Feel So Close", along with "We Found Love" reached the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart.

For the first time since we met little Alaska (the adventure Pup) (back in Lima, Peru we had to leave her behind to look after the Kombi, but don't worry she will be back for more K9 adventures really soon.

A lot of the Cuban tourist scene that is presented to you is 5 Star hotels and Caribbean beaches. In this 2 part series we wanted to strip all that away and show you the real Naked Cuba, and also show you that Cuba can be one of the most exciting and cheap places to travel in the world!
For the first time since we met little Alaska (the adventure Pup) (back in Lima, Peru we had to leave her behind to look after the Kombi, but don't worry she will be back for more K9 adventures really soon.

El comercio informal es igual de ilegal, y tiene la desventaja de que en cualquier encuentro con la policía se pierde la mercancía, que en si misma es una prueba del delito. En cambio a las jineteras, los policías no tienen nada que quitarle, en todo caso, exigen que paguen con sus servicios, y muchas lo hacen. En Cuba, cualquier jinetera gana mas que un doctor o un ingeniero, que un policía, o que un funcionario gubernamental, sin embargo, no requiere ni la preparación ni tiene horarios ni jefes.

Horas más tarde el huracán descendió de categoría 5 a 4, mientras se alejaba de las costas de Colombia.
Luego de varios días, entró en las Antillas Mayores afectando a la República Dominicana, Haití y Cuba. En este último país la cifra de muertos fue cero, mientras que últimos números hablan de más de 3900 muertos directos en Haití.
Al alejarse de esas tierras, llegó a los Estados Unidos entrando en la ciudad de Miami, en Florida. Finalmente fue perdiendo potencia, llegando a la categoría 1 en la escala Saffir-Simpson.
