Timothy James Arthur Wheeler (born 4 January 1977), known as Tim Wheeler, is a Northern Irish guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist for the rock band Ash. He formed the band with Mark Hamilton and they were originally called Vietnam. Wheeler can be seen playing a Korina Gibson Flying V in almost all of Ash's music videos. He has written nearly all of their notable pieces such as "Oh Yeah", "Shining Light", "Girl From Mars", "Kung Fu", and "Goldfinger". In September 2014 Tim announced details of his debut solo album "Lost Domain" with a release date of 3 November 2014.
Wheeler was born in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. He attended Down High School with his fellow band members Mark Hamilton and Rick McMurray.
He won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Pop Song in 2001 for Shining Light.
In 1999 Wheeler contributed guitar & backing vocals on The Rentals' album Seven More Minutes. Wheeler has also contributed backing vocals Bob Geldof's Band Aid 20 2004 single "Do They Know It's Christmas?" and on Arthur Baker's song, "Glow".
Emma-Lee Moss (born 4 November 1983), known by her stage name Emmy the Great, is a London-based singer-songwriter. She has released two albums, First Love and Virtue.
Moss was born in Hong Kong to an English father and a Chinese mother. Interested in music from a young age, she used to go by train to her nearest Tower Records shop so that she could buy the only non-Chinese music they had and, as a result, she developed a liking for bands such as Weezer, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The Lemonheads.
A British citizen through her father and with the ending of Hong Kong's status as a British colony, she returned with her family to London at the age of 12.
During the writing of her second album Virtue, Moss' atheist fiancé underwent a religious conversion, and left her as a result. Her song Trellick Tower is thought to have been inspired by this.
She started making music after encouragement from The Get Up Kids while at Fuji Rock Festival as part of Joe Strummer's entourage. Since then, she has performed with indie folk groups Lightspeed Champion and Noah and the Whale, but is primarily known for her solo work. She first emerged under the name Emmy the Great in 2006, when she released a series of free demos over the internet. She says the moniker came about when "[she] wanted to be a backing singer and [...] wanted to have something to hand to people... 'Emmy' is a name they called me at university, which I hated, and 'the Great' I added on because I hated 'Emmy' so much."
The Christmas season, or festive season, (also called the holiday season or simply the holidays, mainly in the U.S. and Canada), is an annually recurring period recognized in many Western and Western-influenced countries that is generally considered to run from late November to early January, defined as incorporating at least Christmas, and usually New Year, and sometimes various other holidays and festivals. It incorporates a period of shopping which comprises a peak season for the retail sector (the "Christmas (or holiday) shopping season"), and a period of sales at the end of the season (the "January sales"). Christmas window displays and Christmas tree lighting ceremonies when trees decorated with ornaments and light bulbs are illuminated, are traditions in many areas.
Originally within the Roman Catholic Church, the term "Christmas season" was considered synonymous with Christmastide, a term associated with Yuletide, which runs from December 25 (Christmas Day) to January 6 (Epiphany), popularly known as the 12 Days of Christmas. However, as the economic impact involving the anticipatory lead-up to Christmas Day grew in America and Europe into the 19th and 20th centuries, the term "Christmas season" began to become synonymous instead with the traditional Christian Advent season, the period observed in Western Christianity from the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day until Christmas Day itself. The term "Advent calendar" survives in secular Western parlance as a term referring to a countdown to Christmas Day from the beginning of December.
The Sheep is a character, created by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, aka Lewis Carroll. It appeared in Dodgson's book, Through the Looking-Glass, the sequel to his book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
The Sheep is first mentioned in the fifth chapter of Through the Looking-Glass, "Wool and Water". The White Queen is talking to Alice, when she suddenly starts "baa-ing" and then seems to 'wrap herself in wool'. Alice figures out she is in a shop, and that The White Queen has turned into a sheep. The Sheep sits in her chair knitting as Alice looks around the shop. She gives Alice a pair of her knitting needles, and asks her if she can row. As Alice begins to answer, she realizes that they are in a little boat, and that the needles have turned into oars. As they glide along the water, the Sheep repeatedly shouts out "Feather", which means to lift the oar blades out of the water, turn them to a horizontal plane and swing them toward the bow so they don't get 'caught' in the water. The sheep then tells Alice that they will be catching 'crabs' (which is rowing terminology for getting one's blades stuck in the water if one fails to feather properly). Alice's attention is then put onto some scented rushes growing in the water. She tries picking them, but they are only 'dream rushes' and melt away. She then "catches a crab" and they are all suddenly in the shop again. Alice buys an egg from the Sheep (that ends up turning into Humpty Dumpty) and the two part ways.

Plot: A documentary crew investigates the world of martial arts in rural Western Pennsylvania. What they discover is an odd band of "martial artists" who study the only truly American form of martial arts-American Macho Buddha-which was invented two decades ago by a motorcycle-driving hippie. As their research unfolds, they center their tale on the story of mild-mannered Tim Wheeler, a very average guy who's searching for a way to enhance his own self-esteem by studying this rare and deadly(?) form of combat. What Tim doesn't realize, however, is that he has a natural talent for this particular art, and when others recognize this, it puts him into direct conflict with his Sensei, the absurdly pompous (and jealous) Master Bruce Mublanus.

Plot: Matt is an elite ex-cop whose life has gone down hill since he was kicked off the Force. After a rough encounter with a mysterious henchman, Matt is brought face to face with his only chance at reclaiming his life and clearing his gambling debt markers. Only after he gets started on his new tasks does he recognize good guy from bad. Meanwhile Matt's love for his only daughter helps him battle one of his greatest enemies, alcoholism.

Fionn interviews Tim Wheeler, vocalist for and founding member of the band Ash, a Northern Irish alternative rock band, formed in Downpatrick in 1992. As a three-piece, they released mini-album Trailer in 1994, followed by 1977 in 1996. This 1996 release was named by NME as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time. After the success of their full debut the band recruited Charlotte Hatherley as a guitarist and vocalist, releasing their second record Nu-Clear Sounds in 1998. After narrowly avoiding bankruptcy the band released Free All Angels in 2001 and a string of successful singles. Their fourth record Meltdown, released in 2004, was the band's final record with Hatherley before returning to their original three-piece lineup for their fifth studio album Twilight of the Innocents in 20...

This song, "Stratisfaction Guaranteed", is the title track off of Tim Wheeler & the Soul Shufflers 1997 released album Stratisfaction Guaranteed. This album is chock full of songs written and performed by Tim Wheeler himself and released through Alley Cat Records and BMI. I first caught this band playing in Longview, Texas and and was immediately captivated by Tim's mastery of the Blues guitar. This is one man who I can tell you has the Blues flowing through his veins. Such talent coming out of that left-handed Stratocaster! As I saw them on stage back in the 90s, Tim Wheeler and the Soul Shufflers was Tim Wheeler on vocals and guitar, Rick Wheat on bass, and John Graham on drums. One of the best Blues trios I have ever witnessed live. This album is truly one of the prizes in my music ...

Swerving through the street
Drunk as fuck
Searching for an open store
I think I'm out of luck
Maybe I'll find a mad mother on patrol
Hit her car, smash it up
Pull her out, beat her up
Take her money, run her down
Can't find any beer
It's way past two
There's just one thing
We can do
Hit her car, smash it up
Pull her out, beat her up
Take her money, run her down
Drive her face out of town
