Arty is an independent British art fanzine started by the artist Cathy Lomax in 2001. Lomax is also the editor. Arty is for art fans written by artists themselves and published by Transition Gallery's editions department, the artist-run space in East London.
Arty was founded in 2001 in London by Cathy Lomax. It is published twice a year and sold across the UK, including the Tate Modern, Tate Britain and ICA in London.
Frustrated by opportunities for emerging artists to voice their opinions and concerns and inspired by zine culture, artist Cathy Lomax started Arty as an antidote to dry, critic led writing about art. The first 20 issues were photocopied and stapled and featured eclectic artist led content including reviews of contemporary art and numerous exclusive drawings from over 30 prominent and emerging artists from around the world. Themes of past issues have included Entertainment, Boys, Girls, Books, Nature, Alphabet, Scandal, Our Idols, Labels and Reviews London.
From issue 21 the size of the magazine has increased and each issue includes a featured colour. Recent contributors have been Jessica Voorsanger, Sarah Doyle, Rachel Cattle and Gavin Toye.

Plot: With this film I wanted to engage people on some very dark levels. It was my goal to strip away your comfort zone in hopes to keep your emotions raw concerning the themes and topics of this film. This film was a very personal journey into my own soul in search of finding reasons for the how's and why's. After finishing this film I have realized that I'm no closer towards understanding. But perhaps this film was never supposed to supply answers than it was to keep our emotions raw. It is a very difficult film to watch. It was a very difficult film to make. But whether you agree or disagree with the film one thing remains true - atrocities like this happen constantly. And if we become numb to our atrocities we are truly lost.

Plot: The always-welcome Elyse Knox and her All-American footballer turned broadcaster husband Tom Harmon appear together in this film but are not romantically involved, as she is the co-ed "sweetheart" of the title and he coaches the Varsity rowing crew. Some source describes Miss Knox as a B-actress. A more apt and better description would be one that describes her as an Actress who never got out of B-movies. This one is about half plot and half music but the plot is stretched pretty thin to cover 35 of the 75 minutes when it essentially boils down to: a couple of gamblers pressure the local night club(soft drinks only)owner to rig things so the local college rowing crew will lose their upcoming race. End of plot when the cowswain of the home team uses a rabbit's foot to plug the hole the gamblers cut in the bottom of their racing shell. Two of 1945's top hits, "Five Minutes More" and Slim Gaillard's "Cement Mixer, Putti-Putti" are performed, although some people who heard "Cement Mixer" in 1945 are still wondering what it was all about.
Keywords: remakeI wonder if there's any thought there dancing like a part of night
A futuristic civilization loving like we're out tonight
But on another planet out there somebody's gotta shine tonight
.. would start tonight, just like we are tonight!
Chorus: (x2)
It's one life, one love, and one universe
No matter what the distance between us is tonight
It's all relative, except love so'
I wonder if the aliens thought would see the Earth as Paradise
I wonder if they're about to come here and party with us tonight
Or would they shake their heads and tell us we ain't loving each other right!
And tell us there ain't no need to fight with each other tonight!
Chorus: (x2)
It's one life, one love, and one universe
No matter what the distance between us is tonight
It's all relative, except love
So let it shine!
Oh, it's all relative; it's all relative, all relative
Except love!
It's one life, one love, and one universe
No matter what the distance between us is tonight
It's all relative, except love
So let it shine tonight!
It's all relative; it's all relative, all relative, oh, oh
It's all relative, all relative, oh, oh
Except love!
It's all relative, it's all relative
Except love, love tonight!
