The following series of videos are being posted to call attention to the the late local television host of central/Northern Maine on WLBZ TV named Eddie Driscoll. The late Driscoll was someone I had the privilege of knowing when I was a small child. Suspecting that a lot of material involving Driscoll is lost forever due to much of it coming before the advent of tapped programming, this footage from this locally produced 1988 documentary is all that remains of Driscoll's work that I can think of. So enjoy the following videos. And for anyone else interested, here is some more information about Eddie, his influence and career in this area of Maine: http://www.gilleymedia.com/04/driscoll/default.asp

Breaking In was released in 1989, it was written and directed by Bill Forsyth and starred Burt Reynolds. Breaking In followed on from Bill Forsyth's earlier venture into North America with the movie, "Housekeeping". In the movie, Burt Reynolds plays Ernie Mullins, an elderly house burglar who works alone, quietly and competently. One night while he is attacking the wall safe in a prosperous suburban home, he meets another break-in artist: a teenager named Mike Lafebb, (Casey Siemaszko), who came in through the upstairs window simply so he could raid the refrigerator, look through people's mail and watch television. Reynolds thinks he may be able to use Mike in a big job he has been considering - a burglary of the entire Fourth of July haul at an amusement park. Mike agrees, so they beco...

The title of this budget compilation (previously released on Charly as London 1964-1967) is lifted from Julie Driscoll & the Brian Auger Trinity's best-known number, the spooky reinvention of Dylan's "This Wheel's On Fire" that became a monster hit in 1968. The contents, however, tell a different story entirely, as they dig back into the run of flop singles that both parties released in the U.K. in the years before they officially joined forces -- and which have been compiled on so many occasions in the past that it seems almost futile to take them once more around the block. But only if you've heard it all before. Tracklistings 1. Don't Do It No More 2. I Didn't Want To Have To Do It 3. I Don't Know Where You Are 4. I Know You Love Me Not 5. If You Should Ever Leave Me 6. Shad...
