Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China

The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of the Government of the People's Republic of China, formerly as State Science and Technology Commission, is a ministry which coordinates science and technology activities in the country.

It succeeded the State Science and Technology Commission in 1998.

Nigerian Ministry of Science & Technology

The Federal Ministry of Science & Technology is a Nigerian ministry whose mission is to facilitate the development and deployment of science and technology apparatus to enhance the pace of socio-economic development of the country through appropriate technological inputs into productive activities in the nation. The Ministry of Education, Science and Culture (Icelandic: Mennta- og menningarmálaráðuneytið) is an Icelandic cabinet-level ministry founded 16 December 1942. The ministry is divided into three departments and four offices. The current Minister of Education, Science and Culture is Illugi Gunnarsson.

Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Poland)

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Polish: Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego) in Poland was opened on 5 May 2006 by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, in replacement of several parts of the Ministry of Education and Science. The Minister of Science and Higher Education administers governmental activities in science and higher education and has a budget for scientific research provided by State funds. The Rada Nauki (Science Council) acts together with the Minister, in replacement of the Komitet Badań Naukowych (Science Research Council) which was closed in 2005. The headquarters of the ministry are located at ulica Wspólna 1/3, Warsaw.

The current Minister of Science and Higher Education is Jarosław Gowin.
