An oldie but goodie. The steam controller works well with System Shock. Everything you could expect from how good the controller could work as an FPS games and more. The touch menu is a nice addition and its a recommended from Irrational Games themselves. The best part though is how great the track pad feels when navigating your inventory. Easy recommend.
Steam Config will be up later. I really don't like how Steam resets the config upload time if you've tweaked your controls even slightly before uploading...

SYSTEM SHOCK REMASTERED GAMEPLAY RELEASED
Gameplay previews have been released regarding the remaster of System Shock 1, a reboot designed to keep the aesthetics and experience of System Shock while re-imagining it for a modern audience. The pre-alpha gameplay showed some very familiar settings with significant graphical improvements. The project will be supported through Kickstarter.

Blizzard has been hard at work updating its legacy titles; Diablo 2 was modernized last week and Warcraft 3 has recently gone live with Patch 1.27a. The new patches are primarily compatibility patches, aimed at making the games easier to play on newer systems.

System Shock is a first-person action-adventure video game developed by Looking Glass Technologies and published by Origin Systems. Released in 1994, the game is set aboard the fictional Citadel Station in a cyberpunk vision of 2072. Assuming the role of a nameless hacker, the player attempts to hinder the plans of a malevolent artificial intelligence.
Unlike other first-person games of the time, System Shock features true 3D environments, and allows the player to look up and down, duck, go prone, jump, mantle, and lean to the side. The game was a moderate commercial success, with sales exceeding 170,000 copies. Last week, it felt like July. This week, it really is July. Is it the most boring news period of the entire year? I don’t know. You tell me. This week we’ve got. BioShock remastered, System Shock rebooted, and Layers of Fear getting some…shocking…DLC. Okay, that last one’s a bit of a stretch. Nevertheless, this is gaming news for the week of June 27 – July 1.More layers. I really enjoyed Layers of Fear earlier this year, for the most part ... ....

These guys did the right thing by developing a playable demo before going to kickstarter so as to demonstrate they aren’t vaporware ... ....
