Hey guys! Today's video is all about how I plan my day, how I stay organized + how I keep my life together! This is my intro to planning / all about what I use to plan my day.
My favorite planners / notebooks / pens etc!
I'm someone who prefers to keep physical planners/ write out my to do list for the day. I like to visualize my schedule but also the process of planning my day is so therapeutic! I'm obsessed with very minimal notebooks / planners / black + white etc. My aesthetic applies even to my school supplies.
Shocking.
If you'd like to see more videos of me planning for a week in my life, please let me know in the comments down below! This video is more of an intro to what I use to plan / what my process is but I would definitely film a more in depth video if that would be something you'd like to see!
HOW I
PLAN MY
DAY:
1. MONTHLY
PLANNER:
I love to use a monthly planner that only has the monthly spreads. This way I can organize my schedule + plan my day knowing what the rest of the week looks like / where things can fit. This really helps me on a business level to know what the overall vibe of each week is all together so I know where to fit in meetings, jobs, etc. My monthly planner is by
Sugar Paper and I found it at target!
2. DAILY PLANNER:
I have a daily planner / notebook that I use to write down the more day to day details that I wouldn't necessarily put in a weekly / monthly planner. This is where I write my full to-do lists [grocery lists, chores and cleaning as well as random thoughts on top of all my work tasks] This notebook has 2 full pages where I can write my to do lists for each section. I also found this notebook / planner at
Target!
3. WEEKLY PLANNER:
My weekly planner is the
Erin Condren Weekly
Vertical planner. This planner also has the monthly spreads so you could just use something like this instead of buying them separately like I did!
I've also started to venture into the world of decorating my planner / using stickers etc so let me know if you'd like to see more about that!
4.
MEMORY BOOK / DAILY JOURNAL
This isn't really a planner but I use this to remember highlights from every day. I use the One
Line A Day journal where each day has a few lines for you to fill in some memories from that day for five consecutive years. I love this journal to remember the little things / inside jokes that you might otherwise forget.
It's cool to look back and see what you were doing on that day a few years ago!
5.
NOTES
I use the notes app on my phone to take down notes / thoughts whenever I have them and then
I'll write them in my physical planners later. I do this a lot with video ideas / things that
I remember that I need to pick up, etc
6.
PENS
My favorite pens for writing in my planners are the Staetdler fineliner pens in black [obviously] and also the papermate/ bic pens you can find in a pack at target for super cheap.
I hope you guys enjoyed this video about the planners I use / how I plan my day / how I keep my life organized!
