Genevieve is a 1953 British comedy film produced and directed by Henry Cornelius and written by William Rose. It starred John Gregson, Dinah Sheridan, Kenneth More and Kay Kendall as two couples comedically involved in a veteran automobile rally. The musical score was composed and performed by Larry Adler with dance numbers by Eric Rogers.
The story revolves around two Veteran cars and their crews participating in the annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. Alan McKim (John Gregson), a young barrister and his wife Wendy (Dinah Sheridan), drive Genevieve, a 1904 Darracq. Their friend Ambrose Claverhouse (Kenneth More), a brash advertising salesman, his latest girlfriend, fashion model Rosalind Peters (Kay Kendall) and her pet St. Bernard ride in a 1904 Spyker.
The journey to Brighton goes well for Claverhouse, but the McKims' trip is complicated by several breakdowns, and they arrive very late. As Alan cancelled their accommodation in their usual plush hotel during a fit of pique, they are forced to spend the night in a dingy run-down hotel (with a noteworthy cameo performance by Joyce Grenfell as the proprietress) leaving Wendy feeling less than pleased.

They individually meet Max, a charming young man who brings color into their synthetic world. The friends begin dating Max, keeping their affairs a secret from one another. Max's liberal approach to love becomes a welcome and powerful new force in their separate lives. When Genevieve and Adrian discover they have been seduced by the same man, their friendship with one another as well as their relationships with Max come under question. As Max continues to promise them his affections, the three attempt to let go of their ideals and form a triangle. But as Genevieve and Adrian attempt to share their prize in a 'ménage à trois,' the foundation of their friendship begins to crumble all together.

Plot: Reclusive billionaire Carl Jorstad finds himself stripped of his influence after stealing a prize delicacy, the rare jellyfish known as 'La méduse rouge', from a masochistic brotherhood of ultra-rich business leaders. Even as bizarre cosmic phenomena threaten all of humanity, Carl treks into the wilderness in a single-minded quest for revenge against those who have wronged him. Along the way, Carl carves a bloody trail through sadistic prison camp guards, small-town business entrepreneurs, and international assassins-for-hire, while matching wits with black marketeers, resurrected advertising middle managers, and the devout worshipers of a marine biologist-turned-priest. But as his surreal travels begin to take a toll on him, Carl finds himself increasingly unable to conduct business as usual.
