1602: New World is a five-issue Marvel Comics limited series and is the sequel to the 1602 limited series, and as such is set in the year 1602 in the same continuity as the original series and picks up where 1602 left off. This time the story is written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Greg Tocchini.
The story takes place largely on Roanoke Island, which is governed by Ananias Dare. His daughter Virginia and Peter Parquagh (this world's Spider-Man) are fighting an invasion of dinosaurs, and tensions between the colonists and native Americans are increasing, with Englishman Norman Osborne attempting to cheat the natives out of the island. Unrest about metahumans is also increasing, led by newspaperman J. Jonah Jameson. Osbourne is quick to blame this on the natives and Rojhaz (this world's Captain America).
This world's Hulk (David Banner) has apparently killed King James, and is wondering where his allegiances lie. He is identified on Roanoke Island by Peter. Banner is an enemy of the colony after attempting to kill Sir Nicholas Fury, and is almost executed, but is reprieved and taken by the dinosaurs.
New World is the debut solo album by American musician, songwriter, producer and sound designer Dave Kerzner. This is Kerzner's first album since his departure from the band Sound of Contact, and was developed in 2014. The album features numerous collaborations with established artists such as Fernando Perdomo, Steve Hackett, Nick D'Virgilio, Durga McBroom and Keith Emerson. Two versions of the album were developed: a standard edition and a two-disc double album deluxe edition. The former was released in December 2014, and the latter was released in January 2015.
The album was produced and mixed by Kerzner. Most of the album was recorded remotely with reference tracks developed by Kerzner using music software technology from his sound production company Sonic Reality. The tracks were then re-recorded by other artists at remote locations and sent back to Kerzner's studio in Miami for mixing. Veteran mixing engineer Tom Lord-Alge mixed the album's first single release, "Stranded."
A New World is Maksim Mrvica's third international album release. It was released on September 12, 2005.
There are also promotional piano scores of Claudine, Kolibre and Nostradamus available with the enhanced CD.
World is a common name for the whole of human civilization, specifically human experience, history, or the human condition in general, worldwide, i.e. anywhere on Earth or pertaining to anywhere on Earth.
In a philosophical context it may refer to:
In a theological context, world usually refers to the material or the profane sphere, as opposed to the celestial, spiritual, transcendent or sacred. The "end of the world" refers to scenarios of the final end of human history, often in religious contexts.
World history is commonly understood as spanning the major geopolitical developments of about five millennia, from the first civilizations to the present.
World population is the sum of all human populations at any time; similarly, world economy is the sum of the economies of all societies (all countries), especially in the context of globalization. Terms like world championship, gross world product, world flags etc. also imply the sum or combination of all current-day sovereign states.
"World" is a song from the Bee Gees' fourth album Horizontal, released in 1967 in the United Kingdom. Though it was a big hit in Europe, Atco Records did not issue it as a single in the United States, having just issued a third single from Bee Gees' 1st, "Holiday".
The song's lyrics question the singer's purpose in life.
The song's first recording session was on 3 October 1967 along with "With the Sun in My Eyes" and "Words". The song's last recording session was on 28 October 1967. "World" was originally planned as having no orchestra, so all four tracks were filled with the band, including some mellotron or organ played by Robin. When it was decided to add an orchestra, the four tracks containing the band were mixed to one track and the orchestra was added to the other track. The stereo mix suffered since the second tape had to play as mono until the end when the orchestra comes in on one side. Barry adds: "'World' is one of those things we came up with in the studio, Everyone just having fun and saying, 'Let's just do something!' you know". Vince Melouney recalls: "I had this idea to play the melody right up in the top register of the guitar behind the chorus".
"World (The Price of Love)" is a 1993 single by New Order, taken from the album Republic. Simply listed as "World" on the album, the subtitle "The Price of Love" was added for the single release, as it is repeated during the chorus. A 7:34 dance remix of the track by Paul Oakenfold, called the "Perfecto mix", was included on many releases of the single and was used for an alternate edit of the video.
The same music video was used for both the original version and an edit of the Perfecto remix of the song. Shot in Cannes with only 5 long steadicam shots, the video features the camera slowly journeying from a pier into an expensive hotel, lingering on the faces of passers-by. It features the band only fleetingly - Peter Hook sits at a table on the seafront, Bernard Sumner stands overlooking the sea, and Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert pose for a photograph outside the Carlton Hotel. This would be the last time the band would appear in a video until 2005's "Jetstream".

Look through my eyes
I have arrived, and now I'm on the rise
Watch the tables, watch the tables as they turn
This is a lesson...
I know you'll never learn
I know you'll never learn
There's something running through my blood, takes hold of me
It's taking me to heights you'll never see
Yeah I'm your wildest dream
There's something disturbing your sleep
Well now you'll see nothing's ever what it seems to be,
Now I'm all that you bleed
Make no mistake
Forget my name, you know you wish you could
I'm a nightmare, see me while you toss and turn
I am the lesson...
I know you'll never learn
I know you'll never learn
There's something running through my blood, takes hold of me
It's taking me to heights you'll never see
Yeah I'm your wildest dream
There's something disturbing your sleep
Well now you'll see nothing's ever what it seems to be,
Now I'm all that you bleed
You better believe that you can see me, now
I'm on the top of the highest building,
And you're still on the ground
At any minute this could all collapse,
And I could come back down
But I'm living in the moment...
I'll savor it for now
I know you'll never learn
There's something running through my blood, takes hold of me
It's taking me to heights you'll never see
Yeah I'm your wildest dream
There's something disturbing your sleep
Well now you'll see nothing's ever what it seems to be,
Now I'm all that you bleed
These are the heights I know you'll never see
