Lahore (Punjabi: لہور, Urdu: لاہور) is the capital of the Pakistani province of Punjab and the second largest city in the country. With a rich history dating back over a millennium, Lahore is a main cultural centre of Pakistan. One of the most densely populated cities in the world, Lahore remains an economic, political, transportation, entertainment, and educational hub.
Lahore successively served as regional capital of the empires of the Shahi kingdoms in the 11th century, the Ghaznavids in the 12th century, the Ghurid State in the 12th and 13th centuries the Mughal Empire in the 16th century, the Sikh expansion in the early 19th century, and it was the capital of the Punjab region under the British Raj in the mid 19th and early 20th century. The traditional capital of Punjab for a thousand years, Lahore was the cultural center of the northern Indian subcontinent which extends from the eastern banks of the Indus River to New Delhi. Mughal structures such as the Badshahi Mosque, the Lahore Fort, Shalimar Gardens, and the mausolea of Jehangir and Nur Jehan are tourist attractions. Lahore is also home to many British colonial structures built in the Indo-Saracenic style, such as the Lahore High Court, the General Post Office, Lahore Museum and many older universities including the University of the Punjab. The Lahore Zoo, thought to be the fourth oldest in the world, is also situated here.
Iftikhar Thakur is a Pakistani stage actor. He originally hails from Mian Channu. Thakur worked there in a Motor Work Shop. He has starred in many stage dramas/telefilms in different languages such as Urdu, Punjabi, Pothwari/Mirpuri etc. One of his most famous telefilms has been "The Miki Kha ro England Series" which very successful amongst the Pothwari & kashmiri community.
Thakur acts best with comedy actors Bobu Bral, Shahzada Ghaffar, Sohail Ahmad, Anwar Ali, Nasir Chinyoti, Tariq Teddi, Naseem Vicky, Amanat Chan, Sakhawat Naz, Nawaz Anjum, Sajan Abbas and Hameed Babar. Thakur is recognised as one of the best stage comedians, as by giving his best performances in stage dramas such as Mohabbat CNG, Chalak Totay.
Thakur worked in a Motor Work Shop before starting his career as a stage actor in 2000. Thakur rose to fame due to his quick reply,funny body language and appearance. He also catches attention due to his strange costumes that he wears on stage. One of his dialogues, "Jhoot Bolda" is very popular among his fans. Thakur's has also been working as a director. His directorial debut, a Punjabi stage drama called "Roti Khol Deyo", was the biggest hit of the year. Plot: Raja Thakur (Sunil Dutt) is an outlaw who fights oppression and corruption in his own unique way. This Robin Hood like figure is a feared and respected figure among the villagers and when he attends a dance performance given by the famous dancer Janiya (Rekha), he finds himself attracted to her. He shows his feelings openly but this proves to be a hindrance to Janiya - people now consider her to be the exclusive property of the outlaw and fear to ask her to perform for them. A rival gang kidnaps Janiya and invoke the wrath of Raja Thakur. Now Raja Thakur will have to leave the rural area, where he rules, and go into an unknown territory, to deal with unknown gangsters, and he must do so in order to keep his word.

Plot: Bhola (Sunil Dutt) is a simple minded young man who has taken a vow to act according to the book of shashtras, which dictate that a man must marry when he is of the right age. He meets with lovely Bindu (Saira Banu) and falls head in love with her. Coincidentally, Bindu moves in next to his house. Bhola is thrilled, but soon despairs when he learns that Bindu has given her heart to Master Pillai (Mehmood). Bhola's friends Vidyapathi (Kishore Kumar), Banarasi (Mukri), and others belonging to an acting troupe, assist in hoodwinking Bindu to get attracted to Bhola, and thereby getting his love life back, but there are unexpected twists and turns, and Bhola's lies are exposed, making Bindu return to her plans to marry Master Pillai.
